Milly clung to Chloe, crying hysterically.“Don’t hit my mommy! My daddy will kill you!” The livestream chat exploded again.
“Look, the homewrecker’s lovechild is here! And she’s defending her mommy! How infuriating.” “You know what’s funny? This kid will probably inherit Liam’s fortune someday. That’s why homewreckers are so bold–their kids get the inheritance!”
The kid’s innocent, but her mother isn’t! What a disgrace…”
The comments were a torrent of insults.
Someone grabbed Milly’s arm, shouting, “Get away, you little brat! Do you know your mother is a homewrecker? Do you know she ruined someone’s family?”
Milly screamed, “My mommy says she’s not a homewrecker! Mommy said Aunt Summer is! Daddy doesn’t love Aunt Summer! Mommy said the one who isn’t loved is the homewrecker!”
The chat erupted again.
“See? You feel sorry for her because she’s a child, but she already learned her mother’s tricks! She thinks her mother isn’t the homewrecker.”
“Her morals are completely corrupt.”
“She deserves no sympathy. Poor Summer! Liam always played the loving husband, but he’s finally shown his true colors. Men are unreliable!”
“You’re a bastard! Your mother’s a homewrecker…” someone yelled.
Milly bit the person’s arm, shouting, “I’m not a bastard! My mommy isn’t a homewrecker! Aunt Summer is… Waaaaah…”
“She bit me!” Someone shoved Milly to the ground.
Milly cried uncontrollably.
Chloe, panicked, shielded Milly.
Her face was ashen as she begged for mercy.
“Please, stop! I’m sorry! I know I’m wrong.”
She claimed remorse, but deep down, she didn’t truly regret her actions. She just wanted them to leave.
“I’m sorry to Summer. I swear I’ll never bother her again. Please let my daughter and me go. She’s just a child…”
“She’s a child, but you’re not.”
“Beat her! Homewreckers like her don’t deserve to live.”
The anger was uncontrollable.
People swarmed Chloe, punching and kicking her.
The insults were far worse than anything she’d said to me.
Someone kicked Chloe in the stomach…

Chloe felt excruciating pain, a tearing sensation in her abdomen. Her inner thighs felt hot.
She screamed in terror, “Stop! Stop! Someone help my baby…”
Someone noticed the blood.
“Stop! She’s bleeding!”
“Stop! Someone might die!”
“Good riddance to that homewrecker.”
Suddenly, a figure burst in–Liam. His eyes were bloodshot. He roared, “Chloe! Get out here!”
The crowd, though furious, hesitated.
He was the CEO of Sterling Industries; they didn’t dare offend him.
Chloe, hearing Liam’s voice, felt a flicker of hope.
She cried out, “Liam, baby, I’m here! They’re beating me! Save our baby! I’m bleeding! Our baby…”
“Aah…”
“Liam, what are you doing?”
Chloe screamed.
Liam’s
hand

around
her throat,
his

rage.
His eyes were bloodshot, his face terrifying.
“I told you never to bother Summer again! Why did you send her those taunting messages?!”
