Chapter 22
There were people both inside and outside the classroom, but it was completely silent.
Then, Summer took out her phone and started a timer.
Annie’s face was covered in rotten fruit peels and juice. She had never smelled so bad before, and she kept having the urge to throw up. However, she couldn’t even be bothered to clean herself up.
Turning around, she looked at the others. “What are you standing around for? I didn’t do this on my own!”
The others didn’t say a word.
Summer pretended she never saw their conflict. Taking out a textbook from her bag, she began flipping through it expressionlessly.
In just a few minutes, the whole world seemed to have turned upside down. The person who was usually the victim was sitting at the side with a cold and emotionless demeanor. Meanwhile, the bullies were surrounded by trash as they hurled insults at
each other.
Someone commented, “Wow! Summer’s retaliation really is something!”

“She’s so cool!” someone else agreed.
A student said, “I’ve been fed up with those girls bullying everyone else at school. We’re all respected descendants of prestigious families, but they treat us like we’re second–class!”
Someone remarked, “Summer is so pretty! Why haven’t I noticed that before?”
A male student said, “That’s why I said natural is best. Why do girls always bother with makeup?”
The male students gathered together, looking like they were having the time of their lives.
The seconds ticked by.
The crowd of onlookers outside the classroom did not disperse. Instead, when word got out that Summer had taught Annie a lesson, more people came over to watch. This went on until Summer’s homeroom teacher arrived.
“What’s going on here?” The homeroom teacher, Ivan Sutton, was a man with quite angular features.
He also happened to be the assistant principal of the school. In fact, he was Annie’s distant relative. Annie’s uncle was the chairman of the school, and Ivan managed to get his current status through his connections.

He had always covered up Annie’s bad behavior at
school.
“Mr. Sutton!” Annie immediately started crying when she saw Ivan coming.
“Shut up.” Summer slammed her textbook on the table in annoyance.
Annie hadn’t even let out a full cry before she stifled it.
Ivan looked at Summer. He didn’t recognize her at first, but when he realized who she was,
his
expression darkened. “Summer, why are you bullying your classmates?”
Summer recalled the fact that she had sought help when she was bullied before.
Students would seek help from teachers when they were bullied, and Summer was no exception. She had asked Ivan for help back then.
However, Ivan had only told her, “Have you wondered why you’re the only person they bullied? You should reflect on yourself and your actions!”
“Mr. Sutton, since when have I bullied my classmates?” Summer looked at Ivan. “Annie put trash on my desk, so isn’t it only natural that I ask them to clean it up? If you ask me, they put trash on my desk on purpose, so they’re the real bullies

here, Mr. Sutton.”
“It’s no big deal. Just change your desk!” Ivan said in annoyance. “Stop cleaning up. Just get back to your seats. Class is starting.”
“We still have three minutes to go,” Summer said coldly. Then, she looked at Annie and the others. ” Hurry up.”
The trash on the desk was already cleared away.
However, the real challenge was the unsightly words written on the desk.
The young ladies were startled when they heard that they only had three minutes left, and they quickened their movements. They sobbed as they tried to rub the words off, looking quite pitiful.
“Summer, what do you mean by this? Do you have no respect for me, your homeroom teacher?” Ivan scolded loudly.
་་
He never thought that Summer, who used to be so obedient and meek, would dare to turn against him in front of the students!
