Back to My Worst Birthday and Starting Anew
Chapter 66 A Vengeful Little Fox
“She’s more likely to be the one bullying others.”
Alfred animatedly recounted everything that had happened online.

“Even if Ms. Nelson had a bad reputation before, she’s changed now! Just yesterday, she completed an entire test in front of the entire class and only got one question wrong. Can you imagine how much effort she had to put in to clear her name and prove herself through her own merits?
“Ms. Nelson has already been through so much. She only wanted an apology, but that Leah girl had the nerve to gaslight her! If it weren’t for everyone’s rational judgment and sharp eyes, recognizing right from wrong. Ms. Nelson would’ve been unjustly accused! Don’t forget that Ms. Nelson is the biological daughter of the Nelsons. The girl who took her place is simply just too much!”
By the end, Alfred was fuming.
Ms. Nelson has no parents to love her and she’s now even bullied by the girl who stole her family! Her life is just too tragic!
Emyr frowned after hearing that. “Why didn’t she mention any of this yesterday?”
“Mr. Eymr, you should know Ms. Nelson by now. Whenever she’s wronged, she just keeps quiet and swallows the suffering herself.”
Emyr thought about the times she had strutted around with a sense of triumph, and he let out a cold snort.
She keeps quiet and swallows the suffering herself?
It was clear that she was just biding her time, looking for a chance to get revenge. She’s a vengeful little fox!
That morning, Charmaine, for once, accepted Alfred’s offer of a car ride to school.
She instructed the driver to drop her off at a corner just before the school gate and walked the rest of the way herself.
As she reached the entrance, a flashy Ferrari screeched to a stop right in front of the school.
A handsome man in a designer casual outfit emerged from the driver’s seat. He gracefully made his way around the car to the passenger side, opened the door, and elegantly extended his hand.
With his support, Leah shyly stepped out of the car.
Her cheeks were flushed and brimming with embarrassment.
“Thank you for going out of your way to drive me to school, Daniel.”
Daniel Quinn brushed a stray lock of hair from her face gently and said, “No problem. Let’s head in.”
“Okay,” she replied softly.
The two exchanged a glance before Daniel shut the car door. Together, they walked into the school. Their good looks and matching aura make them the center of attention.
“Daniel is so dreamy! He’s rich, smart, and even won a national scholarship–he’s the perfect rich kid!”

“And don’t forget how gentle he is. Who wouldn’t want a prince like him?”

*Well, you can keep dreaming. Didn’t you hear Leah just now? Daniel specifically drove her to school
“Yeah, Daniel has a house near the school, but he went all the way to Leah’s place early in the morning just to pick her up….
“Ugh, some people just know how to play the victim. I thought the’d be too embarrassed to show up after yesterday’s drama. But now, with Daniel by her side, she’s the envy of everyone!”
“I just don’t get it. Why is Daniel into Leah? She’s so unworthy of someone as perfect as him!”
“Not necessarily. I heard that Daniel was really rebellious in middle school and was known as ‘Little Emyr He even went to Death’s Cliff to race cars… At that time, there was a girl by his side. She was one of those who didn’t study.”
“I’ve heard that gossip too. It seems that girl also got into our school, just like Daniel!”
“Who? Who was it?”
“I can’t recall exactly. It’s been years, and Daniel’s turned over a new leaf. They probably broke up ages ago.”
Charmaine walked past the gossiping crowd to get to her classroom.
Before she could ascend the stairs, a hand shot out from the side, pulling her into an empty classroom.
The door opened and closed in quick succession. No one had noticed anything.
Charmaine was pressed against the door. Then, she looked up at the man in front of her with a straight face.
Daniel stared at her intently.
In public, he was the picture of a polite and gentle man, but now, his captivating eyes burned with frustration and anger.
“Why didn’t you come to me?”
Charmaine replied evenly, “Why would I?”
“You promised we’d go to Eragos University together after graduation. You said you’d be my girlfriend in college.”
Daniel’s grip on her wrist tightened as his breath got heavier. “You disappeared without a word. And now that you’re back, you act like you don’t know me!”
Charmaine met his gaze directly and replied, “I never said those words. You’re the one who said them.”
