“Isn’t the show crew going to step in? Looks like the others have never seen anything like this.”
The chat was going wild, and tension filled the courtyard of Pearblossom Vale.
Zayn glanced at Leah, who was hiding behind him, his expression tight.

Zeph and Randall also looked uncomfortable. They were used to treating patients, not dealing with this kind of drama.
Seeing no help coming from the crew, Alice let out a long breath.
Just as she was about to move, Robin stepped forward first.
“We might not be here to give treatment today, but we’re here to offer care.”
Her voice was clear and calm, and it quieted the rowdy elderly people immediately.
However, the middle–aged woman sneered. “Care without treatment? That’s just nonsense.”
Robin replied steadily, “Every doctor here specializes in different areas. We’re getting ready for tomorrow’s free medical treatment.”
The guests looked confused.
Prepare for what? Why hadn’t we heard about this?
Robin gently asked, “Do any of you have phones?”
“Yes, my son got me a smartphone. It’s very loud.”
“My daughter bought mine. The screen’s big and easy to read!”
A few of them chatted as they pulled out their phones.
Robin nodded and said, “Here’s what we’ll do. Everyone lines up. The three doctors will ask each of you about your health, then record the answers on their phones. That way, tomorrow’s check–ups will be quicker.”
She hesitated for a second and glanced at the time. “But it’s getting late. It might take a while. Will it mess. up dinner?”
She looked at the woman who was still holding the ladle.
The woman didn’t seem friendly, but the elderly people were eager for the doctors to stay.
As long as it didn’t cost anything, anything was fine.
“No worries. Stay and eat with us!”
“Right! Just cook a little extra. Halle, add more meat!”
Halle Roffe shot Robin a glare, snatched the ladle, and stormed into the kitchen, slamming the door.

Alice gave Robin a grateful look and started organizing the elderly into a line, showing them how to explain their medical concerns.
The once noisy crowd quickly quieted down and followed her instructions.
Zeph sighed in relief. “Looks like we’ve saved the meat. Thanks, Dr. Robin!”
Randall also expressed his thanks to Charmaine.
Zayn stared deeply at her. “You do have a solution.”
Charmaine smiled faintly. “It’s just a simple idea. I still need Dr. Becker and Dr. Snee’s help.
“Just a small favor. It’s nothing.”
With that, the task of securing a free meal was finally done.
The group laughed and chatted, completely ignoring Leah, who was standing in the back, pale–faced.
She looked at the live feed, feeling embarrassed about her performance.
Not only did she fail to take the opportunity to stand out, but she also ended up looking like a backdrop to Robin, giving her the spotlight.
Leah clenched her fists in frustration.
The tasks had been assigned to everyone. Leah couldn’t diagnose or help organize, and staying there made her feel even more out of place. She sniffled quietly, “I’ll go help in the kitchen,”
With that, she hurried off into the kitchen.
“Haha, Dr. Robin is so smart!”
“Smart people always get ahead. She may be a bit socially awkward, but she’s clever!”
“Robin came up with a great plan–it’s a win–win situation. She’s brilliant.”
“Leah is so shameless, running away like that. She’s a joke. Hilarious!”
