“Live update–Mr. Emyr and his girlfriend just left the food street.
They had taken a quick stroll, and now Charmaine’s stomach was pleasantly full.
She rubbed her belly, then bent down to pat Emyr’s, feeling a surprising sense of comfort.
See, no matter how rich or handsome you are, overindulging can still give you a little belly.
With a satisfied burp, Charmaine noticed more and more people staring in their direction. She quickly put on a mask and handed one to Emyr as well.
“We’ve got half an hour left. Let’s give it a little time to settle before heading back.”
Emyr glanced over, almost by accident, had spotted the couple from earlier.
They were in the claw machine area. The girl stood in front of one of the machines, cheering the guy on.
But despite several attempts, he still couldn’t grab the stuffed toy.
Emyr spoke up suddenly, “Which one do you want? I’ll get it for you.”
Charmaine followed his gaze.
The claw machine?
She noticed the couple now, and a soft laugh escaped her.
Truth be told, sometimes Satan could be a little childish!
“Sure, go for a bigger one. I don’t feel right going to bed without something to cuddle with.”
She hummed the words without thinking, but was immediately startled when Emyr’s expression turned dark, and he shot her a sharp glance.
Realizing what she had just said, Charmaine’s ears turned pink. She quickly added, “Oh, don’t misunderstand. I wasn’t talking about you! It’s just… I’ve gotten used to having something to hold onto lately. Last night felt kind of weird without it… ”
Emyr’s eyes narrowed, a sly grin tugging at his lips. His voice dropped to a low, rough tone. “Just bear with it for these few days.”
Huh?
Why does it feel like I’m only making it worse and giving him more to laugh about?

He carefully lined up his stance, leveling his eyes with the claw, and steadied his hands as he focused on the
button.
Charmaine leaned against the glass, watching intently.
At first, he aimed for the center of the plush toy, but when the claw closed, it only caught part of it before dropping it.
Emyr frowned slightly but quickly adjusted, setting up for another try.
Charmaine could tell what had happened. She was about to offer some advice but stopped herself. It would’ve been unnecessary.
Sure enough, on the second try, Emyr successfully grabbed the toy.
He bent down, retrieved it from the machine, and handed it to Charmaine with a smile.
“Wow! That was quick!”
Charmaine’s eyes lit up with excitement and admiration, and Emyr, pleased with her reaction, flashed a confident smirk. “Easy as pie.”
Charmaine hugged the toy, pressing her mouth against it to stifle a laugh.
As if to prove himself further, Emyr turned to the next machine and set his sights on another toy.
In no time, Charmaine had become a human toy collection box, unable to hold any more stuffed animals in her arms. The store clerk even handed her a small pink cart, which she filled to the brim.
Charmaine laughed and said, “Okay, enough already. I can’t take any more. I can’t even bring all of these home.”
“It’s fine. We’ll take my private plane on the way back. There’s plenty of room.”
“Alright!”
Ah, the perks of being rich–troubles like these don’t exist!
Their little adventure had naturally drawn plenty of attention. Two fashionable girls, looking a little shy, approached them. “Hey. You’re so good at the claw machine. Can you help us get one?”
“Yeah! We’ve tried so many times, but we’ve had no luck. You’re amazing at it—can you help us? We want a big panda like the one your girlfriend has. There’s one more left in the machine!”
“We can pay you! We’ll transfer the money to your bank account later!”
The two girls gazed at Emyr eagerly.
Charmaine, still clutching the panda stuffed animal almost as tall as herself, shifted her gaze, about to speak. But Emyr was quicker.
