She quickly checked the time. “There’s still about 30 minutes before boarding. I’m going to grab something,
but I’ll be back soon.”
After updating Tad, she rushed off.
Shawn, still slightly dazed by what had just happened, turned to Sinnova. “Wait, were they showing off their relationship just now?”
Sinnova nodded after confirming with a glance. “Yes, they were flaunting it right in front of us, and now they’re off together.”
“Damn! I never imagined I’d see the day when Emyr would be so open about his love life. I guess life is indeed full of surprises!” Shawn laughed.
Kane shook his head and wagged a finger. “This is just the beginning. You’ll see a lot more of it–plenty of sweetness to the point it makes you sick!”
“Well, I can’t wait to see what else will knock me off my feet!” Shawn was practically buzzing with excitement.
He was eager to see what kind of PDA Emyr would be serving to everyone, and to be honest, he was curious about what it would look like.
When Emyr came back from his call, the airline manager arrived to announce that boarding had started.
It was then that Emyr noticed Charmaine wasn’t around. Tad quickly explained what had happened.
Emyr’s brow furrowed, his sharp, handsome features instantly turning cold. “Why didn’t she follow us? What if she gets stopped and can’t get through?”
Without hesitation, he dialed Charmaine’s number.
But the line was busy.
Emyr’s expression darkened as he tried calling her three more times, each time with no answer.
Tad lowered his head, clearly frustrated. “I’ll go look for her right now.”
“I’ll go.” Keon stood up, offering his help. “Security is tight here. I have a pass that should make things easier. You all board first. Don’t let it delay the schedule.”
The airline manager quickly added, “Are you talking about the lady who came in with Mr. Emyr? I’ll have the ground staff search for her immediately!”
Emyr’s expression darkened even further. “Thanks.”
With Charmaine missing, Emyr’s face grew so grim that no one dared to speak.
The airline manager was now terrified, afraid that even the smallest mistake could offend these esteemed guests
and ruin his career.

Seeing the manager’s nervous expression, Shawn smiled kindly. “We got it. You can go now.”
“Thank you, Mr. Carter.”
Emyr didn’t respond, but as other passengers began boarding, he suddenly had an idea. He pulled back the
curtain.
Immediately, passengers passing by couldn’t help but glance over, especially the women, who were in awe of Emyr’s striking looks but were too intimidated by his cold demeanor to approach.
Shawn and the others followed suit, opening their curtains as well, letting the entire first–class cabin be openly seen by those walking past. Kane even waved to a little girl.
Emyr turned his attention back to the window, but from the corner of his eye, he noticed someone had appeared beside him. His icy aura softened just a little.
He turned to face her, his voice firm but not angry. “What is it that couldn’t wait …
Before he could finish his sentence, he stopped.
Emyr’s gaze locked onto Veronica, who was walking toward him with a look of starry–eyed admiration. His expression immediately hardened again.
“Mr. Emyr, what a coincidence! Are you,
to Sudbay as well?” Veronica purred, her voice dripping
with sweetness as she smiled flirtatiously, her eyes filled with unspoken desire.
Meanwhile, as the boarding process continued, the flight attendants, who were supposed to be greeting passengers with friendly smiles, couldn’t help but gossip quietly among themselves, completely ignoring Veronica.
“Those two men sitting on the right side of the middle–so much class, so handsome!”
“I swear I’ve seen them on magazine covers. Are they CEOs or heirs to some huge fortune?”
“I’ve never seen them on our flights before. This time, even the airline headquarters is involved. They must have incredible status. Plus, they look amazing!”
“I noticed the guy by the window on the left. He has this aloof vibe, like he’s untouchable. No one’s sitting next to him… I wonder if, after we take off…
”
“Ugh! I got stuck in economy class, serving those poor people. How unlucky!”
Veronica took a moment to assess the flight attendants.
What a bunch of nobodies who have never seen the world. Those who truly hold power have their own private jets and exclusive flights, ones they would never dream of seeing!
Of course, with their status, these attendants can only hope to climb the ranks by latching onto ordinary wealthy men.
