Leah stepped forward, her tone scolding yet seemingly concerned for Charmaine’s welfare. “Ms. Robin, the cleaning of your office is usually handled by my sister. She must have left these stray cats here, affecting your work. Please allow us to remove these trash for you…

She hadn’t finished speaking when Zayn moved forward, intending to grab the cats.
Charmaine’s eyes narrowed, and two silver needles flew from her hand, pricking Zayn’s wrist with pinpoint accuracy.
Zayn’s arm went numb. He turned to her, stunned. “Ms. Robin?!”
Charmaine’s voice was even colder than before. “Leave. This is your only warning.”
Terrified by the situation, Leah hurriedly pulled the stiff Zayn out of the room. “Zayn, we should go now!”
Out in the hallway, Leah stared at the silver needles, which were as long as her fingers, sticking out of Zayn’s wrist. Fear gripped her. “What do we do? Will this affect the filming? Should we tell Mr. Zimmer?”
She’d worked too hard for this opportunity to showcase herself on the program; she couldn’t let a minor incident ruin it all.
Zayn, slowly regaining his composure, breathed heavily and pulled the needles out himself. “No need, I’ll be fine soon.”
His heart raced with excitement.
To think that Robin, standing at a distance, could so effortlessly and precisely hit his pressure points! The needle’s depth was perfect… Such skill…
She truly was worthy of admiration!
Zayn, who respected strength above all, paid no mind to Robin’s cold treatment.
He only reflected on his own actions, wondering what he might have done wrong to upset Robin.
Could it be that Ms. Robin liked cats?
While Zayn pondered this, Charmaine had already started her consultations.
At precisely 8 o’clock, a middle–aged woman carrying shopping basket walked in.
Seeing Charmaine, yeiled and concealed, the woman paused, uncertain, and stepped back to check the sign outside the door.

Charmaine nodded. “Yes, that’s me. What seems to be the problem, Ms. Lester?”
Instead of answering, Hannah turned and shouted toward the hallway, “Oh my, what has Beacon Hospital come to, hiring such a weirdo to treat us? These appointments are hard to get, and now they’re wasting our money on this nonsense!”
Her shouts grabbed the attention of the patients outside. Several people from different departments poked their heads in, gawking at Charmaine.
“Heavens, I’ve never seen a doctor more wrapped up than a patient. Could she have some contagious disease and is afraid to show her face?”
“I bet she’s a quack who messed up before and is now in hiding at Beacon Hospital. It’s a real scam!”
“I spent so much money to get this appointment! Beacon Hospital, give me my money back!”
Before long, about ten patients had gathered at the doorway, causing a commotion.
Filming had already started, but the crew waited for Mr. Zimmer’s orders, none stepping in to help.
