She had made it painfully obvious. Shouldn’t he get it by now?
Seeing her hopeful, expectant gaze, Emyr finally understood.

After a brief pause, he gently reminded her, “The internship spans three months. The project preparation at Cross Group will take roughly two months, and if everything proceeds smoothly, the execution could wrap up within a month. The initial investment for collaboration is in the tens of millions, and project team members receive bonuses ranging from 0.5% to 30%, distributed based on individual contributions.”
Charmaine’s previously dull eyes lit up with excitement.
“So, that means I’d be making at least 50,000 each time?”
If she put in extra effort, earning even more wouldn’t be a challenge.

A slow, enticing smile spread across his flawlessly sculpted face. “Work by my side as my special assistant. That way, you’ll receive bonuses for every project I oversee.”
He elaborated further, offering a subtle hint, “I manage at least ten projects from different departments each week.”
Fifty thousand per project. Ten a week. Four weeks per month. Three months of internship …
Charmaine gulped, as if she were witnessing Satan himself seated in the office, endlessly pouring out gold coins.
