“Hold on, there are still a few left to see…”
“I doubt anyone can top this design!”

“Have you realized that the designer actually suits this dress better than the model? The designer looks stunning, especially with that alluring red mole near her eye. She’s absolutely gorgeous with such an icy elegance!”
As the crowd’s admiration echoed around them, the Nelsons couldn’t hide their excitement, their faces glowing with anticipation.
Willard stayed quiet, his mind seemingly elsewhere.
Jonah mused, “If Charmaine takes the win, it’ll be another triumph for our side…
Milo’s eyes briefly flickered with surprise, but his words remained dismissive. “Charmaine’s average skills don’t even come close to Leah’s. It’s nothing special.”
As the chatter from the audience reached the stage, Leah’s heart, which had just been steady, clenched tightly once more.
She felt a wave of relief knowing Charmaine hadn’t picked the designs from the sketchbook. After all, the two she submitted, along with the one in question, were all from the earlier pages of the book. Charmaine probably wouldn’t even remember them.
But when the pitch–black dress appeared on stage, she nearly burst into laughter.
How could they completely misunderstand the essence like this?
Who would have imagined anyone would consider Charmaine’s tattered–looking black dress appealing?!
Are they blind?
“And now, we present contestant Leah’s creation–‘Starry River.“”
The original sketch and the model stepped into the spotlight together, captivating everyone’s gaze.
It was a dazzling yellow gown, featuring a swirling gradient of stars around the waist, seamlessly blending the deep navy of the night sky with the golden hues of twilight–absolutely breathtaking.
Unable to contain his excitement, Milo quickly grabbed his phone, eager to capture his little sister’s moment of glory.
Little did he realize, that when Leah’s initial design appeared on the screen, Milo froze in shock.
Though he wasn’t a professional, his two years of painting experience had given him a grasp of the basics.
The flow of the lines in Leah’s design matched Charmaine’s initial sketch almost perfectly…
The smile that had lit up Milo’s face gradually disappeared, replaced by a complex expression as his gaze

“Hey, did anyone else notice? Both designers with the surname ‘Nelson‘ have such amazing work. Is ‘Nelson‘ some kind of design superpower?”
“That’s such a rare last name in Eragos. Seeing two at the same time–could they be related?”
“Ha, don’t be ridiculous. How could they be related? Charmaine’s entire outfit probably doesn’t even cost as much as Leah’s shoes. It’s either just a coincidence with the last name ‘Nelson, or one of them comes from money.”
“Don’t underestimate people just because of money. If you ask me, Charmaine is way more stunning than the Nelsons‘ heiress. She’s got fair skin, beauty, and real design talent. She’s bound to succeed–maybe even become a rich lady someday!”
“Haha, even if she’s rich, can she compare to the wealth of the Nelsons? That’s the heiress of a century–old family/business. Stop trying to cause trouble.”
Leah tilted her chin up, scanning the audience below. Their amazed and admiring expressions told her everything—she had won.
With a self–satisfied wink toward Willard and the others, she basked in the moment. But as she turned her head, she noticed the judges in the front row exchanging serious glances and whispering to one another.
Leah pressed her lips together, puzzled. What could they possibly be discussing? Her Starry River design was clearly far superior to Charmaine’s Dead Ashes.
The next moment, the judges rose from their seats, took the microphone from the host, and their expressions turned serious.
“In this round of auditions, we are committed to the principles of openness, fairness, and justice, with the goal of selecting exceptional designers for our studio and advancing the fashion design industry.
“However, we never expected that in such a prestigious and formal competition, we would encounter a plagiarist who copied someone else’s work!”
Leah’s heart raced, and her face went pale. She instinctively took a few steps back, only to feel a firm hand gripping her wrist…
Furious, Leah snapped, “Charmaine, you .
She spun around, only to find it wasn’t Charmaine holding her back, but a security guard from the venue!
The guard’s expression was icy as he escorted Leah toward the front of the stage.
In an instant, the audience and viewers watching the live broadcast erupted into chaos.
“What’s happening? Who plagiarized?”
“Can’t you tell? Leah’s the one who plagiarized!”
