After setting up the connection and linking it to Emyr’s phone, a blank sheet of paper printed moments
later.
“Mr. Emyr, the connection is complete. I’ll be outside. Please let me know if you need anything”
Emyr waved him off nonchalantly. “Alright, you can go now”
Once Tad left, Emyr opened his phone’s gallery, selected the latest photo, and pressed print.
A colorful photo quickly came out of the printer.
Emyr walked over to the display wall.
This wall showcased the honors Crows Group had earned since its founding, along with photos of each leader who had guided the company.
Emyr scanned each one, his gaze eventually settling on the last photo.
It was the one where Kane had insisted on taking a photo with him in the office.
Emyr reached up, took the photo off the wall, and carefully swapped it with the freshly printed one, placing it on the desk
Seeing the empty corner of his desk now filled, he nodded in approval, then tucked Kane’s photo into the drawer
After finishing a quick lunch, Tad knocked and entered.
“Mr. Emyr, Mrs. White and Ms. White are here”
Emyr’s brow furrowed slightly.
Agatha had been recuperating in Havenwood, so it was unexpected for her to suddenly come to Eragos.

A moment later, Tad led Agatha and Freya into the office, followed by two secretaries who brought tea and
snacks.
Agatha White had some connection with his grandmother, so Emyr gave a polite nod, “Mrs. White.”
Agatha wore a luxurious fur coat, and despite her hair having long since turned white, the shine of her jewelry still radiated around her.
She pulled Freya along without hesitation and settled comfortably onto one of the sofas in the reception area. After taking a look around, she turned her attention to Emyr

As she spoke, she gently patted Freya’s hand, boasting with a smile, “It’s all thanks to Freya, of course. Hehe.”

“Oh? Still shy?”
Agatha’s voice was affectionate, yet tinged with mild reproach. “You’ve been in Eragos for more than half a year, completely ignoring your own grandmother for this boy. And now you don’t want me to say anything?”
Although her words were directed at Freya, the meaning was aimed at Emyr.
Emyr remained calm, replying without hesitation, “You’re right. Ms. White has been taking great care of my leg injury, and I’m truly grateful.”
“I’ve watched you grow up, and you’re the most reliable one. So, when she dropped everything to come to your side and help with your leg, I was at ease. Even if she can’t solve it, I know you’d never mistreat my precious granddaughter.”
Agatha looked at Emyr with admiration.

Emyr responded calmly, “Thank you for your concern, Mrs. White. I’m much better now.”
“That’s good to hear.”
Agatha smiled and didn’t beat around the bush. “The reason I came here wasn’t for anything urgent. I just wanted to check on you and, while I’m here, I thought I’d ask when you and Freya are going to make things official.”
Freya gasped. “Grandma!”
Her face looked surprised, but her eyes couldn’t hide the mix of joy and nervousness.
She eagerly looked to Emyr, waiting for his response.
His expression darkened.
Agatha’s words seemed to carry the weight of her elder status, as if she were pressuring him.
