Celeste waved her hand dismissively. “Yeah, yeah, I got it. Do I look like some clueless brat? He’s our biggest client–I’ll entertain him properly!”
The dinner venue was chosen by Rex–a flashy South Aspus restaurant.
When Dominic and Celeste arrived at their private room, Rex hadn’t arrived yet. When visiting for the first time, Celeste was curious about the place and couldn’t sit still. “Dad, I’m gonna go take a look around.”
Before Dominic could respond, she was already gone.
Stunning belly dancers in revealing outfits swayed to the exotic music in the main hall. Celeste wandered around, taking in the lively atmosphere. When she saw that it was almost time, she stopped by the restroom before returning to the private room.
But the moment she turned the corner into the communal wash area, she was greeted by the sight of a tall man being pinned against the wall by one of the dancers.
Celeste immediately stepped back, but as her gaze inadvertently swept over them, something about the man caught her attention. He wore sunglasses and a mask, his slim yet well–proportioned frame draped in a stylish ensemble–his belt’s logo and the classic checkered lining peeking out from under his coat were all too familiar.
Just as she was about to blurt out ‘pretty boy‘, the man suddenly turned to her and said, “Babe! You’re finally here!”
Celeste was stunned.
Oh My God.
It was that same flashy pretty boy from last time!
Unbelievable. It had only been a few days, and here he was, expanding his ‘business‘ into a restaurant?
Before she could react, Rex had already pushed the dancer aside and pulled her into his arms.
He leaned in slightly and murmured into her ear, “Help me out, and I’ll make it worth your while.”

Celeste sneered inwardly. How good was this pretty boy at squeezing money out of rich women? The way he spent, he

Then again, it made sense. His job‘ was easy–just a bit of smooth–talking and a little extra effort at night. A high–profit business like that? No wonder he was living large.
Since she didn’t immediately object, Rex assumed she was on board and turned to the dancer. “See? I really do have a girlfriend.”
The dancer glared at Celeste with resentment, clearly reluctant to give up. But after scanning Celeste’s outfit -a custom LK haute couture dress and an eye–catching yellow diamond necklace–she knew she was no match. Huffing in frustration, she stomped her foot and left.
As soon as she was gone, Rex sighed in relief and released his hold on Celeste. “Thanks.”

Rex looked up and finally got a clear view of her face.
“You’re that girl from Eragos University!”
Memories of their last encounter resurfaced, and his lips curled into a smirk–not a friendly one. “What a small world. Running into you again is some real bad luck.”
Celeste grinned sweetly.
Then, without warning, she kicked him straight into one of the restroom stalls. And before Rex could react, she grabbed a mop and shut the door.
“D*mn, brat! What the hell are you doing? Let me out!” Rex shouted, pounding on the door.
Celeste clapped her hands in satisfaction. “This is what you get for messing around with too many women. I’m punishing you on behalf of all the poor girls you’ve deceived. Enjoy your time reflecting on your sins.
With that, she ignored his string of curses and walked out of the restroom, feeling refreshed.
She even placed a ‘Maintenance in Progress‘ sign outside as a thoughtful touch.
When she returned to the private room, Dominic was still sitting there alone.
Celeste frowned and shut the door behind her, checking the time. “Where’s the big client? Did he ghost us?”

He then glanced at his daughter, whose mischievous expression was a dead giveaway. Over the years, he had learned that she wore this exact look whenever she pulled off some mischief.
A bad feeling crept up on him. “Celeste, where did you just go?”
Celeste smirked mysteriously and scooted closer. “Dad, remember that pervert I told you about? The one who was hitting on Charmaine?”
Dominic’s face instantly darkened. “That bastard is here? Where? I’ll go teach him a lesson—”
Celeste grabbed his arm, giving him a knowing look. “Dad, I’m your daughter. You really think I’d let him off if I ran into him?”
