Two hours later, Stella departed through Walton residence’s secret passage. The person who came to meet her was Cora’s confidante.
The secret passage was aptly named. No one knew about it, not even Crow lurking in the Walton residence. There was no sign of activity.
At this moment, he was counting down the time, counting down to the task that Cherise had arranged for him in an hour.
He spent almost all day exploring every nook and cranny of the Walton residence’s garden, and now he was sitting in a very secluded corner.
