Hank had already put some distance between himself and the villa. At that moment, he was running through the dense woods, searching for a way out.
The forest was vast–so vast that it seemed more like a wilderness. Without a good sense of direction or a compass, it would be easy to get lost here.
As Hank watched the villa fade into the distance and the sky gradually darken, he dared not stop.
After running for a while, he realized that aimlessly sprinting like this wasn’t a solution.
So, he started searching the ground for traces of pedestrians or vehicle tracks.
The path was narrow, and there were barely any signs of vehicles passing through. Luckily, after careful searching, Hank spotted several footprints left by men. A trace of joy flashed across his face.
Finding these footprints gave him hope. He steeled himself, widened his eyes, and followed the trail forward.
Finally, after cautiously making his way through a few dense bushes, he caught sight of a paved road outside. The moment he saw the asphalt road, a triumphant smile spread across Hank’s face. “I finally found it!”
However, the road leading out was still guarded by several men in black.
Seeing this, Hank, who had been brimming with fighting spirit just moments ago, let out a sigh. “Looks like I’ll have to use Ms. Leach’s technique again.
“These silver needles weren’t easy to get my hands on–they were expensive. And now, I only have a few left…Oh well, I’ll worry about that later.”
With that thought, Hank removed his glasses once again and pulled out the silver needles. Just like before, he crouched in a corner and swiftly flicked out a few needles. The guards at the entrance instantly froze in place.
As he threw the needles, Hank silently prayed that it would work. And sure enough, it did. If nothing else, Hank was certainly a quick learner.
After making sure there were no issues, Hank boldly straightened up and ran toward the road. However, before he had taken more than a few steps, a somewhat familiar voice rang out. “Stop right there!”

Hank was all too familiar with that voice. A surge of excitement welled up inside him it was Cherise
Lydia, on the other hand, hesitated, her mind suddenly filled with questions.
Almost no one could locate this villa. On top of that, she had thrown away Hank’s phone, smartwatch, and all other electronic devices. Even the most skilled hacker would have a hard time tracking him.
She pondered how Cherise had appeared here so effortlessly.
Suddenly, Lydia thought of the surveillance footage that had frozen earlier. She suspected Hank still had some kind of tool hidden on him that she hadn’t noticed. With that in mind, she carefully studied Cherise and Hank, watching them intently.
Hank glanced to the side. Seeing Cherise, he could no longer hide the joy on his face. “Ms. Leach, this is great! Did you come
to take me back to class?”
Cherise nodded slightly at his words and slowly stepped forward. She cast a cold glance at Lydia before reaching out and grabbing Hank’s arm. “You skipped class today. You need to come back with me and make up for it.”
With that, she pulled Hank along, ready to leave. Seeing the situation, Lydia immediately gave a signal to the men in black
on–site.
The moment they received her command, the guards swiftly moved to surround Cherise and Hank, blocking their way out.
“Ms. Leach, what should we do?” Hank stammered, seeing the men in black once again cutting off their escape.
At that moment, Cherise’s face was utterly devoid of emotion. The men in black had no idea whether this stunning woman before them was too frightened to speak or if she simply hadn’t realized the danger she was in.
