Chapter 18 Then Snatch It for Me
TM 7.5%%
Sofia had no idea w
hat was happening outside. She went straight back to her room through another door.
Her room was connected to Nathaniel Hart’s, so going through the front door would take longer. Using the back door, she could just open each door and be there.
After all the fuss with Charley, Sofia didn’t get any rest time.
She didn’t want to waste any time treating Nathaniel, so once she got back to her room, she took out the medicine and started preparing it.
She had used it on Nathaniel last night, and his body responded well, which made Sofia even more confident in healing him.
Especially since Nathaniel’s body was in great condition, and his responses were pleasantly surprising to Sofia.

So, she increased the dosage a bit tonight.
Last night, she had used a conservative amount, worried Nathaniel’s body couldn’t handle it.
Fortunately, her worries didn’t come true, and the results were even better.
After preparing the medicine, Sofia had to put it in a mini fridge for four hours.
That way, once injected into Nathaniel’s body, it would have the best effect.
Taking advantage of this time, Sofia opened her laptop and logged into a long–forgotten website.
Immediately, message notifications started popping up non–stop.
Sofia’s face darkened, staring speechlessly at the computer screen.
When all the notifications finally stopped, she didn’t browse through them but closed them all directly.
She sent a message: “Whoever sends me pop–up messages again, you’re out.”

Instantly, everyone who was eager to message Sofla stopped in their tracks.
Some even had their fingers hovering over the Enter key, quickly pulling them back, far away from the keyboard.
Luckily, they didn’t press Enter. Otherwise, getting kicked out for annoying their boss. would be a huge loss.
Sofia waited for a minute, seeing everyone behaving, and then continued typing.
“Restart that neuron recovery project from three years ago. I have a good patient here. Two people will join me in performing the surgery.
Now, no one cared about Sofia’s earlier threat. Pop–up messages flooded in, almost crashing Sofia’s computer.
“Boss, pick me! I’m the best now, only I match your skills.”
“Boss, look at me. I can endure hardships, and I’m your lucky star.”
“Bullshit! Boss, ignore him, Pick me. It’s my turn, your hard–working student.”
Sofia couldn’t be bothered with the messages and simply said, “I’ll choose when I feel like it. Stop fighting. Now, I need you to do something first.”
“Boss, you say it.”
Sofia: “I’m missing a medicine here. I’ve written the ingredients. You have three days to make it and send it to Campbell City.”
With a casual click, Sofia sent over a file.
It contained only a few formulas, but everyone went silent, after seeing it.
They had underestimated the Boss. The stuff she needed was never ordinary.
Finally, someone tentatively asked, “Boss, one ingredient isn’t available here.” Sofia rested her chin on her hand, finding these students adorable.

She typed a few keys and sent the message back. “That’s why I’m giving you three days to get it done.”
Everyone: “…”
They felt the Boss was making things difficult, and they were sure they had enough evidence.
Sofia didn’t need to ask to know what they were thinking, shaking her head helplessly.
She then gave a new instruction.
“There’s an auction in the U.S. tomorrow night. The last item will have the ingredient you
need.”
Everyone was stunned, silent for a long time.
Sofia, speechless, directly named someone, “Justin Robertson, you’re closest to the U.S. Head over now. I’ve prepared the invitation. Get that item for me tomorrow night.”
“Yes, Boss.”
Sofia finished her instructions and ignored the lively chatter of messages, shutting down the page to get ready to go to Nathaniel’s room.
Just then, Sofia’s phone rang, displaying a hidden number.
Usually, people wanting to contact Sofia would only call if it was extremely urgent.
Otherwise, they’d send a WhatsApp message or, at most, a WhatsApp call.
A direct phone call now made Sofia’s face instantly darken.
She didn’t hesitate and answered immediately.
The caller was Welles, the person Sofia arranged for Justin’s auction ticket.
Welles, relieved when Sofia answered, quickly got nervous again.
“Schneider, I just got word that the Hank family from country D also wants that auction

Sofia’s face turned even darker, her fingers tapping the table rhythmically.

They had clashed many times before, and sometimes Sofia let them win out of boredom.
For the past few years, she had lost interest in many things, almost forgetting their existence.
Unexpectedly, the moment she wanted something again, she had to face them.
This was really annoying!
Sofia chuckled lightly, full of mockery, and told Welles, “Then let them bankrupt themselves.”
Prepared for everything?
She’d let the Hank family truly understand what it meant to lose everything.
Welles hadn’t heard Sofia speak like this in years, swallowing hard before saying, “Okay, Schneider. Rest assured, I’ll get it done.”
Sofia acknowledged and, before hanging up, suddenly thought of something, saying to Welles, “If we can’t win it, then snatch it for me by any means necessary
