At 1 AM, Sofia entered Nathaniel’s room.
She walked to Nathaniel’s bedside and injected the pre–prepared medication into his IV drip.
Sofia had already examined the contents of Nathaniel’s IV fluid, so she knew its components and effects well.
After obtaining the medication Sylvia had purchased for her, she mixed it to complement the medication Nathaniel was already receiving, creating a perfect combination.
However, Sofia’s actions startled Kyler and the others.
“Kyler, why aren’t you arresting her yet? Letting her continue like this, Mr. Hart’s life is at stake,” exclaimed one of the anxious person.
Kyler was also concerned, but without orders from Mr. Hart, he dared not act rashly.
He could only watch Sofia intently through the screen, hoping she wouldn’t do anyt strange to harm Mr. Hart. Otherwise, Kyler vowed he would personally deal with her.
Sofia had no idea she was being watched. After injecting the solution, she hid the syringe her pocket and then pulled out a wrench.
This time, Kyler and the others gasped in shock Despite having seen numerous intense situations, Kyler found Sofia’s actions surprisingly bold.
Sofia approached the medical equipment she had previously adjusted, glanced at- Nathaniel lying in bed, and then like a thief, she began to tamper with it step by step, moving a panel aside.
The wiring box was exposed, and Sofia crouched down, using the wrench to undo the six
screws.

Kyler and the others were dumbfounded.
Could this delicate–looking girl really unscrew these things so effortlessly?
To avoid making noise, Sofia carefully stowed away all the screws she removed into her

pocket and cradled the removed panel.
Focused on reconnecting the modified wiring, Sofia didn’t notice that the man who should have been asleep had already opened his eyes.
Although Nathaniel couldn’t see Sofia within his line of sight, his eyes glinted with a cold light.
Even Kyler and the others behind the screen felt a sudden chill.
After reconnecting the wires, Sofia got up from the floor with the panel in her arms. She operated the control panel for a bit and then smiled with satisfaction.
Almost at the moment Sofia finished her adjustments, Nathaniel felt a tingling sensation in his neck
This was the first time Nathaniel felt pain since his accident.
Uncontrollably, he let out a slight gasp, his brow furrowed.
Sofia heard the sound and quietly moved closer, gently adjusting a few patches on Nathaniel.
Her expression showed great relief. The medicine had started working inside him, and with the stimulation from the instruments, Nathaniel could feel the pain.
This meant things were more hopeful than she had expected.
She grabbed a tissue, wiping the sweat off Nathaniel’s forehead, murmuring softly, “Looks like you’re quite resilient. Maybe you’ll be up sooner than expected.”
Nathaniel was initially stunned by the sudden pain, his breathing unsteady. Hearing Sofia’s whispered words only intensified his chest’s uncontrollable heaving.
