“ARE YOU SURE? Once I mark you, there’s no going back,” he whispered and Serena nodded, her hand still caressing his cheek.
“I’m sure. I’ve never been more sure of anything,” she replied before pulling him into a kiss.
As their lips met, a wave of electricity surged through them. Serena felt her body tingling with pleasure as their tongues danced together in a slow and sensual rhythm. She then wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer to her as she deepened the kiss.
Perez’s hands roamed all over her body, tracing every curve and dip, making her moan into his mouth. His touch was like fire on her skin, igniting a passion within her that she never knew existed. She pressed herself against him, wanting to be as close as possible to him.

It was as if no matter how the Moon goddess interfered in their lives or what obstacles lay ahead, their genuine love for each other would always bring them right back together.
Serena and Alpha Perez spent the rest of the night in each other’s arms, talking and making love until they both fell into a peaceful slumber. The next morning, she woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside their window.
She couldn’t help but smile as she watched her mate sleep peacefully beside her. Alpha Perez’s face was serene, with a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. He looked so different from the fierce and powerful Alpha she had met during the war, yet she still loved him the same way she did before.
“Oh, right, Peter,” she muttered before slowly getting up, careful not to wake him up. However, even before she could leave the bed, his strong arms already wrapped around her waist and pulled her back.
“Where are you going?” he asked the anxiousness in his voice making Serena feel bad.
“I’m not running away,” she answered, brushing her thumb across his cheek. “It’s morning, and I want Peter to wake up with us next to him.”
“Oh,” Alpha Perez let out a sigh and let go of her before sitting up. “Let’s do that.”
Serena nodded, and they both took a quick bath before sneaking into the newly renovated King’s room where Peter was still asleep, and Annie had just woken up.

“Thank you, nanny,” Serena said, and her nanny just smiled, feeling happy that they had sealed their bond as mates. After she left the room, the couple carefully walked towards both sides of the bed and slowly slid their feet under the covers.
Peter stirred slightly, his hand coming up to grab onto Serena’s arm. She smiled warmly and rubbed his forehead with her thumb, hoping that he wouldn’t start to wake up anytime soon.
She and Perez then stared at each other as they lay low down, their hands intertwined as they both hugged Peter.

After a few minutes, Peter finally started stirring and opening his eyes. He looked around the room before his on his mother and father, both smiling at him.

“Good morning, sweetheart,” Serena greeted him warmly, brushing his hair away from his face. “Did you sleep well?”
Peter yawned and stretched before nodding with a big smile on his face. “Yes, Mama! I had a good dream,”
“What was it about?” Perez asked, watching his son fondly.
“In my dream, I was surrounded by my close and new friends, and we were all having a great time playing together. Although I love all of my friends, the best part of the dream was when my little sister was born, and we watched you Mama get married like fairy tale royalty!”

As soon as Peter spoke those words, a smile spread across the couple’s faces. It felt like a beautiful dream, and they both held onto the hope that it would one day become reality.
“Do you want to have a little sister?” Serena asked, fixing her son’s bed hair who quickly nodded in response.
“Yes, Mama! I want a little sister, and I will be a good big brother. I will protect her and make her happy!” Peter exclaimed enthusiastically, causing Serena and Perez to exchange a look, both of them overwhelmed with emotion at their son’s innocent request.
Even as both Serena and Perez longed to expand their family, they knew their duties as Queen and Alpha King would consume most of their time. However, when Peter expressed his wish for a little sister, it sparked a desire in them that they couldn’t ignore–and they knew it wouldn’t hurt to try.
“Do you promise to be a good big brother?” Alpha Perez asked as he playfully pinched Peter’s cheeks.

“Yes, Papa!” He nodded, which made the couple giggle at their son’s eagerness. Serena then watched how her husband and son played together.
This moment seemed unreal and surreal, as though it was a dream. And to confirm that it was not, she gently touched her neck, and when she felt the fresh mark, a wave of relief washed over her. She smiled, knowing she had really been marked and bonded.
However, she knew better than to celebrate early that things would be smooth from here onward. After all, this was just the beginning of their new journey.
