The two Shoiyan fighters continued to gloat.
Wendy, like many others, was furious but powerless. Her team couldn’t match these two.

A voice rang out as Emmanuel, bandaged and all, strode toward the two Shoiyans.
He deliberately gave them time to react, ensuring they wouldn’t accuse him of a sneak attack.
The moment they noticed him, he suddenly vanished, appearing right in front of them in a blink.

The two Shoiyans‘ eyes widened in shock. Before they could even finish their exclamation, a violent surge of pain erupted in their stomachs.
Emmanuel struck with both palms, unleashing an aura that left everyone speechless–like meteors crashing into the earth.
The once arrogant Shoiyan fighters were serft flying, utterly defenseless.
Remarkably, Emmanuel ensured they didn’t destroy any part of the venue. Instead, they landed just outside the doors, coughing up blood, unable to get back up.

Willow wanted to retort but found himself silenced by Emmanuel’s piercing gaze.

When crushed, they became obedient. Otherwise, they would continue to push boundaries.

Ethan suddenly laughed and turned to the Shoiyan delegate, Mr. Kashimoto. “Mr. Kashimoto, Birdsong Island has always been part of Chanaca. If there are inaccuracies in your modern historical records, I suggest consulting older ones.”
Mr. Kashimoto put down his teacup, glanced at Emmanuel, and immediately adjusted his previously superior demeanor.
“I recall it belonged to Shoiya, but I’ll follow your advice and check older documents. However, I have a request, Mr. Kashimoto said earnestly.
“Go ahead.”
Ethan, ever the composed president, didn’t lose his temper or act condescendingly. He simply gestured for
Mr. Kashimoto to continue.,
“The sparring earlier was an accident. Those two Shoiyans somehow slipped in; they’re not part of my delegation, nor was it our intention. I kindly ask that the incident not be disclosed.”
Ethan neither agreed nor refused. Instead, he said, “Regardless of their affiliation, they entered with your delegation. The protocol was disrupted. Shouldn’t you apologize?”
To everyone’s surprise, Mr. Kashimoto stood up and bowed at a full ninety degrees toward Ethan.
“I apologize for the disruption. We’re willing to re–record the discussions, and we’ll fully cooperate.”
Seeing the once–proud Shoiyans bow their heads in apology left many astonished.
Even Ethan was a bit surprised but maintained a gentle smile. “Then let’s redo it. I hope Shoiyans can learn that while Chanaea is a land of etiquette, we are far from weak.”
Applause broke out across the venue.
The Shoiyan delegation’s smiles turned awkward and strained.
Emmanuel noted that Ethan was still the same approachable leader people knew. However, he wasn’t weak; he was simply measured.
The two delegations resumed their diplomatic talks, with the proceedings taking a completely different tone than before. Both sides adopted a broader and more formal approach to their statements.
Mr. Kashimoto also adjusted his rhetoric, carefully avoiding any mention of the territorial dispute over Birdsong Island.

“Absolutely!” Ethan responded with conviction.
Setting his glass down, his expression grew serious, his tone weighted with the gravity of the moment. “Diplomacy is never a trivial matter, especially at this level. Every gesture, every nuance, even the subtlest shifts in momentum can send signals that significantly impact the outcome.”
“Then, if I hadn’t intervened, would you not have had any alternative plans in place?” Emmanuel asked, gesturing politely for Ethan to elaborate further.
Ethan sighed, his candor unwavering. “Even if I’d intended to take other measures, there likely wouldn’t have been enough time to act effectively.”
Ethan spoke candidly, admitting that his invitation to Emmanuel for dinner wasn’t just an expression of gratitude but also an opportunity to share some critical information.
