Albin frowned but kept his composure. He glanced at the delegation and noticed the Prime Minister of Shoiya was not present.
Wendy retorted, “We welcomed you, yet you arrived late without apology and now you wanted to force your way in? That’s unacceptable!”
The people of Chanaea nearby expressed their outrage

Although there might occasionally be some conflict, it was always on a civilian or low–level official level. It had never been brought up in a diplomatic meeting.
Raising it now meant to threaten to unravel that fragile peace.
Ethan didn’t expect them to pull out such a big move. He was a bit stunned for a moment, then chuckled and said, “Mr. Kashimoto, are you sure this is the right speech?”
