Seizing the opportunity, Emmanuel said with chilling clarity, “You came here to kill me. This was self- defense. If you’re not afraid of dying and still want my head, then come at me!”
Those simple sentences hit the crowd like a thunderclap.
Hundreds of people looked at one another, stunned into immobility. Moments ago, they had been clinging to a faint hope of victory. But after witnessing Emmanuel’s decisive and ruthless strike, that hope
vanished like smoke in the wind.
