Beno White’s eyes flickered with shock and anger.
He stared at me then seemed to realize something, his tone dripping with mockery.
“Is this your revenge? Just because I made you apologize to Yuna back then? Fine, I’m here now. Are you satisfied?”
I gazed at him coldly, shoot to respond, when Pirro White stepped beside me, his voice ity. “Beno White, watch your words.”
Beno’s gaze swept dismissively over Pirro, his tone mocking, “Don’t think just because you’re my uncle you can tell me what to do. I’ll tell you”
led faintly, cutting him off with a cold tone. “Beno White, I’ve already said, today’s wedding has nothing to do with you. You being here is the real owenience.”
His expression froze, a flicker of disbelief crossing his face, as if he couldn’t believe I would speak to him like this.
“What do you mean? Aren’t you in love with me? Are you playing me?”
I scoffed, asking irily, “And what about you,
- u. Beno White? Are you serious?*
He faltered, his face twitching slightly, as if he wanted to argue, but his eyes betrayed a growing unease.
At that moment, a staff member approached, reminding us the ceremony was about to begin. I gently pulled my hand away from his and prepared to
leave.
Seeing I was really going, Bend’s face turned anxious, his hand reaching out to grab me.
There was a hint of panic in his eyes. “Are you really going to do this? Mandy, just turn around, and 1-10 marry you. I won’t make you suffer
anymore…
I remained unmoved coldly pulling my hand back. I nodded toward Pirro, signaling we could proceed toward the ceremony.
Bend’s expression darkened, and when he saw I wouldn’t look back, his anger flared.
He gritted his teeth, voice dripping with menace. “Mandy, think carefully. If you walk out of this now, I will never want you again!”
I paused for a moment, not even sparing him a glance, and without a word, continued walking forward.
Bend’s face turned pale, his expression twisted with disbelief.
Just then, Yuna Smith came walking up, a
Sile on her face, her eyes gleaming with a mix of triumph, jealousy, and sarcasm. “Well well, Mandy,
what a coincidence. Looks like Pirro is here, too?”
She sighed dramatically, a knowing smile playing at her lips. “Such a deep affection, right? I guess you two must have been…?”
Bend’s eyes instantly turned cold, as if he had pieced something together, and he sneered. “No wonder… Mandy, you really are a good actress, aren’t you? Had Pirro waiting in the wings all along, huh?”
Pirro’s eyes darkened, and he took a step forward, his fist clenching.
I stopped him gently, shaking my head. “It’s not worth wasting time on him.”
We turned to leave, but Bono’s mocking laughter followed us “Pirro White, don’t you know how much Mandy used to love me? She loved me so much she could hardly breathe!”
Thated, my eyes turning frigid as I turned back, the warmth gone from my gaze.
“Head White. I did love you once, so much so that I had no self respect. But that’s in the past. You thought I couldn’t move on, but now, not even the slighest attention will I give you.”
I paused, offering a cold smule. “You’re not worth it.”
Beno’s face drained of color, his eyes wide in disbelief.
