He hissed as my long heel served its purpose, crushing his shoe. I played innocent and apologized.
“Please pardon my clumsiness, Mr. Leo. I am not a good dancer.”
Leo’s eyes grew impossibly wide as he was startled by my white lie. Just a few minutes ago,
I was dancing comfortably with Bright. He must have noticed that I didn’t lose my balance.

Should I take it as a sign that you are trying to pursue me romantically?”
