Chapter 85
Evelyn didn’t bother herself with those thoughts, they were beneath her. She was ready to live it up without a care, letting bygones be bygones.
“Caleb, It’s late and Evelyn needs to go to bed. You can take Ava away first.”
After watching Ava’s rich expressions, Jasmine headed to the bedroom. She shot Caleb a warning look on her way out.
Just three bedrooms in total. Share one with Ava and you’re toast
Caleb shook his head helplessly. Am I going to sleep on the sofa? He unconsciously looked at the empty space next to Evelyn

Ava managed to maintain her smile. If she had known that Jasmine and Evelyn would be here tonight, she would never have
come.
And why does Evelyn get to crash into Caleb’s bed? I’ve Evelynn with him for ages and never have a sleep in that bed. Staring at the bed, Ava became more and more resentful. She wished she could throw Evelyn out of the bed and replace her. “No! It should be my seat. If it weren’t for Evelyn, I would be the one who sleeps on this bed today!
Squinting her eyes, she patted the handbag on her waist, with a hint of slyness in her eyes. humph, this seat will belong to me sooner or later.
Monitored by Jasmine’s gaze, Ava unwillingly slept in the guest room alone.
At night, moonlight bathed the surroundings like spilled silk
In the quiet room, there was a deliberately suppressed breath. A figure was lying on the bed, and another squatted on the edge of the bed.

After a week of being babied in bed, she finally had some strength back in her hand.
Finally fed up, she climbed out of bed the moment Caleb and Jasmine were gone. She hurriedly gathered her stuff and bolted from Caleb’s villa, only to find the roads outside completely empty–no cars at all.
Evelyn had no choice but to carry a small bag and walk forward aimlessly. This villa area was still a long distance from the center of the city.

She had to take out her phone. After thinking for a while, she dialed Aron’s number.

She found a roadside flower stand and sat there, quietly looking in the direction of the Central District.
About half an hour later, Evelyn saw Aron’s car.
After Evelyn got in the car, Aron glanced at the villa group not far away and he realized the Mercer family lived here.
“Why are you alone outside? Your friend lives here?”
Evelyn recalled the lie she had recently told and awkwardly pinched her palm. “Yeah, he lives in this area. Speaking of which, how did that company issue turn out?”
Aron said, “It’s settled. Should I drive you home or not?”
After hesitating for a moment, she suddenly remembered that she had moved out of Caleb’s house a few days ago. Now she was homeless.
