After Lukas finished speaking, he walked towards the stairwell with a stern face.

He turned to me and said, “Skylar, did you see that? That woman is another concubine in Lukas’s harem. There are plenty of other girls like her. Are you sure you still want to be with him?”

With a tense expression, I recounted the incident on the rooftop.
My face didn’t look too good as I said, “Do you think James is crazy? I’ve only met him a few times, but he always drags me into
trouble.”
Ava paused for two seconds before speaking, “I have heard something about this.”
I raised an eyebrow at her.
Ava continued, “I heard that Lukas and James had a good relationship six years ago, but they fell out because of a woman. James also liked that woman, but unfortunately, she became Lukas’s girlfriend later.”
I was taken aback, “Is that so? Where is that woman now?”
Ava shook her head, “I don’t know. I overheard it from someone else, and I never thought that one day I would meet them in person.”
I nodded in understanding.
No wonder James was going against Lukas. It turned out that their rivalry went beyond business. There was also a complicated love–hate relationship between them.
I returned to Hill Crest One Residence after leaying the hospital.
