As midnight approached. Maggie began to feel sleepy. She put down her book, turned off her bedside lamp, and lay down, ready to sleep.
She thought she might have trouble falling asleep, since it had been a long time since she had shared a bed with Franklin.
However, she then realized that once Franklin finished his work, he might go out to be with Julia. He wasn’t necessarily going to stay here overnight.
