In the afternoon, Johnny returned and asked, “Did you find anyone suitable in the interview today?”

Glen shook his head, pulling back his gaze. “It’s nothing.”
Julia: “About what I just said…”
“I’m leaving,” Glen cut her off, then turned and walked away.
“Glen, don’t do anything rash!” Julia called after him.
But Glen didn’t respond. He continued walking, heading for the elevator.
When he reached the bottom floor and was about to get into his car, he saw Franklin sitting in the vehicle.
He paused.
Franklin smiled. “Long time no see.”
Glen didn’t answer. He looked at Franklin, then glanced at Julia. He suddenly said, “Take care. See you.”
Before Julia could react, he had already gotten into the car and left.
Watching him leave, Julia frowned.
The Next Day
Maggie arrived at the office and noticed a bouquet of flowers on her desk.
Before she could react, someone said, “The new guy from R&D, Glen, sent these to you!”
Maggie wasn’t surprised or upset. She simply said, “Got it.”
She casually placed the flowers aside and focused on her work.
