Maggie pursed her lips and finally spoke, “So, you came here early just to tell me this?”
“I was just really shocked and wanted an answer.”
Although Harry had come here this morning, he hadn’t planned to ask her these questions until he saw her.

Julia smiled and lightly patted his head.
“Frank has an important meeting and couldn’t get away, but he knows you’re coming to the capital, so he canceled an event and booked a private room for you. How’s that? Satisfied?”
“Well, I guess it’ll do.”
Landon looked at Julia, raising his chin proudly. “My sister is so beautiful and outstanding. He should do whatever it takes to marry her!”
Hearing Landon’s words, Julia, Janice, and the others all smiled.

The group got into the car.

Franklin replied, “I have a full schedule today. Maybe in a couple of days.”
“Okay, okay, a couple of days works too.”
As Franklin and Mr. Taylor continued to chat, Johnny pursed his lips and muttered softly, “Just got a little peace for half a month, and now we run into them again.”
