Chapter 70: I Will Protect You
At West Princeton University.
The two most explosive news items today were that Harry had tried to murder a classmate by driving her car off a cliff and really deserved to be brutally beaten. The other was that the female classmate who was murdered by Harry was lucky enough to have a good life. Her life was not in danger, and she had returned to school.
Almost the entire school, the students, were discussing these two things.
Many people said that they could not let Harry continue to be arrogant. They had to let the school make a statement so that a big bad guy like Harry
ho was unforgivable could be punished!
Aker watching the video on the central screen, Charlotte returned to the classroom.
Karl wasn’t there next to her seat.
She wondered why but didn’t notice that he had just walked in from the classroom door with a cold face.
He looked as if he had just arrived at school.
Between his handsome eyebrows, there was a faint tiredness.
His narrow and pure eyes were filled with obvious red blood lines.
His eyes turned and met Charlotte’s.
Karl’s entire body froze as if he hadn’t expected her to appear in the classroom.
He immediately walked over, a pair of eyes staring straight at Charlotte.
“Karl?” She called him. She felt that he didn’t look quite right. “Didn’t you get any rest?”
He didn’t want to tell her that he had been looking for her around Red Peak Mountain since last night before he came to school.
He looked for her like crazy.
When he saw that Charlotte was safe and sound, his hanging heart finally fell.
“Charlotte…” Karl walked over and mumbled her name, but his eyes were paranoid like never before. “Don’t do anything dangerous in the future.”
“Huh?” She hadn’t expected him to say that and was a little stunned for a moment.
“I will protect you.” His pair of pure eyes were filled with a fiery, sincere light.
Karl’s world was actually very pure. He only wanted to hold on to the people he liked, the people who mattered.
Charlotte was his light.
He would protect her and not let anyone hurt her.
She listened but was somewhat relieved.
Was this young man, Karl, opening his heart to her?
Very well.
He would surely follow her in the future.
Charlotte didn’t realize that she had a unique position in Karl’s heart and only thought that he was ready to accept her, so she patted him on the shoulder like a friend. “Good. From now on, you can protect me more.”
Preferably, to be my right–hand man.

Chapter 70. 1 Will Protect You
Dark Night needed a talent like you.
After classes ended in the evening, Charlotte received a phone call from her mother, Vanessa.
Vanessa never took the initiative to call her.
Why so suddenly today?
She immediately had a bad premonition.
Charlotte thought for a moment and picked up the phone, and Vanessa’s cranky and angry voice immediately came out of the line. “You’re already married. Why are you still so capable of causing trouble? I really wasn’t expecting…”
furrowed her brow slightly, feeling like her eardrums were about to burst.
“Come back quickly and clean up the trouble you caused!” Vanessa continued to yell angrily.
“What trouble have I caused?” Charlotte narrowed her eyes impatiently and asked with a cold expression.
“Don’t you know that you have messed with the Larson family? They are much more powerful than us and you still dare to mess with them?” Vaness scolded hatefully. “If you make such a mistake, Max can’t protect you either.”
After all, in Vanessa’s heart, Max was just a powerless, physically disabled invalid.
“Larson family?” Charlotte let out a deep sneer, her eyes filled with intense disdain and contempt.
Harry was beaten and still not honest, and even made a scene at home…
“Okay, I’ll be right back.” The Bellerose family was afraid of the Larson family, but Charlotte wasn’t.
