“Thane,” I heard Axel call, and Thane pulled away from me. When I was free from his grip, I crumbled to the floor. I was in so much pain.

Thane left the room, and I was once again alone with Axel.
Axel walked to me, taking off the duct tape, and I spit out the material. My sobs were more audible now.
“Why Riley, why did you have to run away and place yourself in this situation?”
