Chapter212 “Okay…”

Ashley knew from her tone that Sam was bored. Lately, she’d been clinging to Tanya. But Tanya had been at the auction with Chase, leaving Sam lonely and bored, and prompting her call. “Goodnight,” Ashley said.

“Night, Mom.”

For the next two days, Ashley was swamped with work. She’d planned to go shopping for her

randmother’s birthday present, but she hadn’t found the time.

To reward everyone, Tim took their team out for a fancy lunch on the third day. After lunch, Ashley went to the restroom.

Coming out, she paused. Not far away, Tanya and about eight others were leaving another private room. They quickly entered an elevator, not noticing her.

“Who was that?”

Tim had appeared beside her, having seen Tanya, Yonnie, and Lin Lilian. He also recognized a pretty woman and an elderly lady. The woman was close with Yonnie- clearly his current wife. The older woman was being supported by Tanya.
