Chapter 12
Chapter 12
Aunt: “You damn bitch, Cindy! You’re so low! I called you for help back then, and this is what you do? Just wait, I’m going to rip your mouth apart! @Cindy.”
Aunt: “You’re always showing off in our group. Everyone thought Yvonne drained your savings, but turns out you’re just trash with nothing worth a dime!”
Cindy: “What the hell are you barking about? It’s not like it’s a lie. You’re always messing around with men! So what if I posted it?”
Aunt: “You bitch, remember when you were flirting with Zac by the community gate? I bet Samuel doesn’t know, huh? @Samuel.”
Aunt: “Last time, you were already holding hands. By now, I bet you’re in bed with him!”
Aunt: “So, how’s Zac in bed? @Cindy.”
Cindy had gone quiet for a while–probably busy explaining herself to Samuel.
Second Aunt: “Oh my, we sisters shouldn’t let someone stir the pot and break our bond.”
Me: “@Second Aunt, with your ‘great upbringing,‘ why did your daughter end up as someone’s mistress? Did you teach her that?”
Me: “You and your daughter are both useless. You’ve been ‘providing‘ for someone else all these years, and your husband still can’t even afford a car.”
Cousin: “Mom, stop talking! @Second Aunt.”
Me: “@Older Aunt, don’t you know best how painful slaps are? It’s been a while since your husband went away. Have you forgotten what a slap feels like?”
Me: “Poor you, with no one to take care of you. But don’t worry, in a couple of years, when he’s out, you’ll get to experience it again. Whether you like it or not!”
I held my phone, full of fighting spirit, but the chat had gone silent.
After a long pause, finally, there was a “ding.”

Chapter 12
Samuel: “Divorce!”
Hahaha, too bad I couldn’t see that in person.
I bet the scene was dramatic!
Time to sleep, time to sleep!
The next day, I got a $100,000 transfer from Cindy.
Wow. Looks like someone knows how to do math.
She knows how to divide by two!
I gladly accepted and withdrew the police report.
I didn’t see Ethan again until a month later.
