Chapter 5
Chapter 5
I was stunned.
Emily: “Yvonne, where did you go? Don’t you know how worried Mom and Dad are? You’re
an adult, how can you be so irresponsible? @Yvonne”
indy: “That’s right. So what if we don’t buy you a car? You’re just a housewife, what would
you even do with one?”
Linda: “Yvonne, how can you be so thoughtless? Your uncle doesn’t even have a car, and you don’t earn any money. You live off your husband, so why are you demanding all this?”
May: “Exactly! You shouldn’t be so materialistic.”
Jane: “Poor Cindy! You already had to throw them a wedding after they got married in secret, and now she’s demanding a car? @Yvonne”
Jane: “I told you, Cindy, you shouldn’t pick a pretty daughter–in–law. You should’ve picked someone like my daughter. She’s low maintenance, obedient. She never complains and does
whatever I tell her to do.”
Cindy: “You’re so lucky!”
Jane: “I could tell right away, Yvonne wasn’t going to be easy. She spends money like water and insisted on a big wedding. I mean, come on, who needs a fancy wedding after already living together?“.
Reading through their back–and–forth chatter, I wondered if they had forgotten I existed.
Did they think I was just going to lie down and take this?
The group chat went silent.
Everyone seemed to be waiting to see what would happen next.
Clearly, it was my turn to speak up.
I put down
down my
skewer and typed furiously into my phone.

Chapter 5
“You’re ugly, but I never heard your ex–husband complain about it. @ Jane‘
“Your ex spent a whole year switching out different types of cuckhold thanks to you, and he never ran out. Good thing he dumped you, though. His life really turned around. Heard he bought a house, a car, and married someone way prettier than you last year!”
“By the way, that bald guy sneaking out of your house late at night was that Mr. Collins or Mr. Flores? @ Jane. You’ve sure had your fun, huh? How many STDs have you picked up? @
Jane.
“You’ve slept with so many men, but none of them ever threw you a wedding, right? Why’s
that?”
