me whole, but the words wouldn’t come.

His men immediately stepped forward, grabbing Silas and pushing him back to make way. I could hear their fast footsteps as they quickly moved into position.
The air was thick with panic, and everything felt rushed. Branwen wasn’t waiting around he was
determined to get me to safety as fast as possible.
“Please… no…” I whispered weakly, barely able to protest, but Branwen didn’t listen.
His arms were already wrapping around me, lifting me gently but firmly, cradling me to his chest.
“I’m not letting you die,” Branwen whispered, his voice filled with strong emotion.
His words were soft but full of fear, and I could hear the trembling in his breath.
