I couldn’t bear to face him. Without thinking, I turned on my heels and bolted. I didn’t know where I was going, I just needed to get away,

But before I could take more than a few steps, a sharp pain shot through my side. I cried out and stumbled, falling to the ground.
When I looked down, I saw Lena standing behind me, holding a knife.
