Alpha’s Redemption The Rise of the Rejected Luna 60

Chapter 60

Chapter 60

I pulled away slightly and looked at Branwen seriously. How is Silas?”

I hadn’t heard anything new since he’d managed to escape, and the silence had been deafening

Branwen had been keeping an eye on him for me, making sure I stayed updated on his whereabouts

Branwen’s face turned serious. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small stack of photos, handing them to me. I took them and looked fiones at the first one

Itwas Silas, but he looked nothing like the proud Alpha he once was

face was gaunt, his clothes ragged, and his eyes filled with desperation

He was crouched down, digging through a garbage can, trying to find something to eat

The second photo was worse, he was covering his face with a cloth, hiding his identity, most likely in fear of being recognized as a murderer

The photos captured the painful reality of how far he had fallen from the position he once held

I felt a strange mix of satisfaction and disgust as I looked at the images. There was no denying the irony of it all, Silas, the powerful Alpha, om reduced to scavenging for scraps

The tables had turned, and it was hard to deny how much I enjoyed seeing him brought low

I’m glad to see him struggling,I muttered under my breath, my grip tightening around the photos

Branwen raised an eyebrow, his voice calm but probing

You seem happy to see him like this. But tell me, how much longer do you plan to let him suffer before you finally deal him the fatal blow?”

I looked at him, my lips curling into a smile, but it wasn’t one of happiness. Very soon,I said softly

I have everything set up. I know where he is, and I’m ready to expose his location

Once I do, he’ll be caught, and the justice he deserves will come for him.”

Banwen nodded, his eyes cold and calculating. You’ve been patient, Lorelei

But you know, once this is over, you’ll be free from all of this. The Snowtooth pack, Silas, everything. You’ll be in control”

I hesitated for a moment, my thoughts briefly drifting. Branwen was right, of course. Once Silas was dealt with, nothing would stand in my way

But as the thought lingered in my mind, I couldn’t help but feel a tiny pang of something I couldn’t quite name. Was it regret? No, that wasn’t it. Maybe it was just the weight of what I was about to do

I quickly pushed the thought aside and focused on the task at hand. I couldn’t afford to let my emotions get in the way of my plans

The evening went by in a blur. Branwen had prepared a wonderful dinner for us, one of my favorite dishes, actually

The smell of the food filled the room, and it brought a brief moment of peace

It was nice to sit down and enjoy a meal without the weight of the world hanging over me for a while

Branwen always knew how to make me feel at ease, even when everything else felt chaotic

We talked about random things, Joanne and Joey’s latest mischief, the status of the pack, and even some old memories that made us both laugh

But through it all, my mind kept drifting back to Silas, to the plan that was now in motion

Soon, it would be over. He would be captured, and everything would fall into place

After dinner, I helped Branwen clean up, and we put Joanne and Joey to bed

Alpha’s Regret: Magnificent Return of the Rejected Luna

Chapter 60

They were both exhausted from a day of playing, and they fell asleep quickly

Once they were tucked in, I quietly closed their bedroom door, making sure not to wake them

Iwas about to leave when I accidentally bumped into Branwen in the hallway

The lights had been turned off in the living room, and the house was plunged into darkness

The only light came from the dim glow of the moon shining through the windows

I didn’t see Branwen until I was too close, and I collided with his chest

His body was firm and solid, and I felt a sudden jolt of surprise as my face pressed against him

moment, neither of us moved. I could feel his breath lightly brushing the top of my head, and my heart raced in an instant

I quickly pulled back, my face flushing in embarrassment. Sorry, I didn’t see you there.”

Branwen chuckled softly, his voice low. No harm done.”

I could barely bring myself to look up at him
