Alpha’s Redemption The Rise of the Rejected Luna 6

Alpha’s Redemption The Rise of the Rejected Luna 6

Chapter

I opened my eyes to find myself lying in an opulent room, vast and immaculate, the rich decor radiating a luxurious, almost regal ambiance

Where am I? The last thing I remember is breaking my mate bond with Silas, putting every ounce of my strength into it. By all logic, I should be dead

Just then, the door opened, and a familiar figure stepped inthe tall shadow who had carried me away. His face, too, stirred a sense of recognition

Rowena, you’re finally awake.”

The moment he spoke, it clicked. This was Branwen

agwen, once the bravest warrior in our pack, had rescued me from harassment in the past. But after that, he’d suddenly grown distant. Less than a year later, he’d left the pack entirely. And yet, here he was

But the grief over my daughtersloss had left me hollow, indifferent even to this unexpected reunion. I spoke listlessly. You saved me? Why didn’t you just let me die?”

A servant behind Branwen couldn’t hold back, his voice indignant

How can you be so ungrateful? Our Alpha risked everything to save you, going to great lengths to find Thorn Blossom for your healing. And now you speak of death again?”

Surprised, I looked up, processing both the lengths Branwen had gone to for my survival and that single word: Alpha. Branwen was an Alpha

He noticed my shock, giving me a faint, knowing smile

Rowena,he said calmly, welcome to the Silver Lake Park”

My voice was rough, strained, barely audible. Tm sorry, but it seems I’ll only be wasting your Thorn Blossom. My two daughters are gone. Living on means nothing to me.”

Branwen’s expression darkened, his intense gaze flickering with emotions I couldn’t decipher. At last, his voice dropped, cold and resolute

I only did what I felt was right. Whether you wish to live or notit’s no concern of mine.”

With that, he turned and left with his servant, not sparing me another glance

Once they were gone, I rose, staggering from the room. My feet found their way to the palace’s topmost terrace. The wind brushed against my skin, relentless and cold, as I closed my eyes, feeling the edge beneath my feet. Just one step forward, and it would all be overthis pain, the anguish of my daughtersdeaths

But in that final moment, a voice echoed in my mind

Rowena, are you really willing to end it like this

I glanced around, but no one was there. Only the moon hung above me, brilliant and indifferent

Was this…. the voice of the Moon Goddess

The voice came again, softer but insistent, Rowena, the one who deserves to suffer for your children’s deaths is not you.”

The truth of it pierced me. No, it wasn’t I who should die. The ones responsible for my daughtersfate were still out there. Why should I perish, when Silas would move on without a trace of remorse? He would marry his Lena, and I would be nothing more than a forgotten shadow

How could I allow that

Resolve hardened within me. I would seek justice for my daughters

Silas Lenayou won’t live happily, free of guilt or consequence

I sank to my knees, lifting my tearstreaked face to the moon, crying out, Moon Goddess, I am not willing to accept this. If you let my children return, if you bring justice to me and my daughters, I will pay any price!”

My prayer seemed to resonate. Moonlight bathed me, filling me with a weightless sensation, as though something greater than myself had heard my plea

The Moon Goddess whispered, Then open

arms and 1 will give you power

I stood up, closed my eyes, opened my arms, and quietly prayed in my heart

Suddenly, a tremendous amount of energy nooded into

my body
