Shadow’s voice broke through my thoughts, soft but urgent.
“I just didn’t want you to see that,” Shadow sighed, his voice laced with regret.
“But hiding it from you would have been cruel.”
His words were gentle, but they cut deep, confirming what I already feared.
Leo’s actions weren’t just a figment of my imagination.

“Just wait and see. You’ll find out when the Ferris wheel lands.”
My heart pounded with a mix of curiosity and nervousness.
I had no idea what Shadow had in mind, but something about his confidence made me nod in agreement.
Maybe this was exactly what I needed–to take control, even if it was just for a moment.
The Ferris wheel began its descent, and my anxiety grew with each passing second.
When it finally stopped, Shadow took my hand and pulled me out of the small glass box.
We rushed through the amusement park, the sights and sounds blurring around us.
My heart raced, not from the run, but from the anticipation of what was about to happen.
We soon arrived at the entrance of the park, where Leo and Aria were still standing.
They hadn’t moved, still keeping a certain distance between them.
They don’t seem as close as I thought they were.
Just as I thought that, I saw Aria’s body become powerless and fall into Leo’s arms.
She looked up at him, her eyes filled with a desire that made my stomach churn.
I watched coldly as she raised her head, clearly intending to kiss him.

He cupped my chin, turned my face towards him, and without warning, he kissed me.

Across the way, I saw Leo push Aria away, turning his head just in time to see Shadow’s lips on mine.
His eyes widened in shock, his expression darkening with anger.
“Narik, what are you doing?!”
Leo growled angrily as he rushed towards us, punching Shadow hard enough to knock him to the ground and pulling me to his side by my arm.
I was too stunned to speak, my mind still reeling from the kiss.
But one word echoed in my mind, over and over again.

I’ve heard the name, but I’ve never met the owner.
Leo has two brothers. The elder brother used to be the honorable heir to Silvermoon.
But during a battle, his elder brother was wounded and could not fully recover. So Andrew abandoned him, unceremoniously banishing him to survive as a rogue wolf.
And Narik, Leo’s younger brother, still attends werewolf school, and rarely returns to the Silvermoon pack.
However, I’ve heard rumors that when Narick was a boy, Andrew arranged a harsh test – one that nearly got him killed. Their relationship has been incompatible ever since.
They and Leo are blood brothers but strangers due to different circumstances, the same in that each carries the scars of their father’s ambitions.
The tension was thick in the air, a palpable force that made my heart race as I stood frozen, caught between Leo and Narik.
Their eyes were locked in a fierce battle of wills, the glow of Leo’s red eyes illuminating the anger that burned inside him.
The amusement park, once a place of joy and laughter, now felt like the stage for an impending storm.
With a low growl, Leo’s fist shot out, connecting with Narik’s jaw with a sickening thud.
The force of the punch sent Narik crashing to the ground, the impact echoing through the air.
Leo’s voice, dripping with venom, cut through the tension like a knife.
“I swear, if it wasn’t for the fact that you’re my brother, I’d kill you,” Leo snarled, his voice filled with a mixture of rage and frustration.
Narik lay on the ground, his chest heaving, but his face showed no sign of pain.
Instead, he wore a provocative smirk, the kind that could infuriate anyone. Slowly, he pushed himself up, his eyes never leaving Leo’s.
