“It doesn’t feel right,” he muttered, almost to himself.
Suppressing the complicated emotions in my heart, I quickly walked closer and handed the divorce agreement back to him.
“I’ve already signed it. As long as you sign it too, we can start the procedures.”
Leo froze for a moment. Then, without saying anything, he signed it.
Nie procedures went quite quickly. We filled out several forms and the staff stamped them
for us.
“The Alpha and Luna of the SilverMoon pack?”
The staff showed a surprised look after reading our divorce application.
“Sorry, we don’t have the authority to handle your divorce application. Usually, for Alpha and Luna to dissolve their relationship, you need to submit the documents to the Werewolf Council one month in advance.”
I was stunned for a moment and said, “I’ve already submitted the documents one month in- advance. Please check it.”
The staff searched on the computer for a while and then shook their head at me.
“Sorry, there isn’t any record of submission here.”
I was shocked and looked at Leo.
It must be him. He’s one of the members of the Werewolf Council. He must have directly withheld the divorce documents I submitted by using his power!
Leo didn’t avoid my gaze. He said slowly, “I’ve said that I won’t divorce you.”
I turned to the staff and asked, “Can’t we skip these steps and directly get the divorce
certificate?”
“No, it’s not allowed.” The staff shook their heads.
For a moment, Leo seemed to want to say something to me, but then his cell phone rang.

He glanced at the screen, frowning as he answered it.
“What’s the matter?” Leo’s tone was extremely cold.
A very majestic male voice came from the other end of the phone.
“I don’t know what you’ve been busy with lately. How dare you unilaterally block the communication I sent to you.” The man said angrily, “I heard that you’re going through the divorce procedures with that useless Luna of yours? That’s good. Hurry up and put your
nergy back into work.”
“I won’t get divorced, and I won’t marry Aria either.”
Leo retorted irritably, “Stop trying to interfere in my life, Father.”
The man on the other end of the phone was Leo’s father, Andrew, a domineering and autocratic dictator.
After Leo became the Alpha of the SilverMoon, Andrew was not only unwilling to let go of all his power but also often expressed his dissatisfaction with our marriage.
While they were arguing, my phone buzzed with a text from an unknown number.
I glanced at it, my curiosity piqued.
The message included a photo of a sleek, modified Kawasaki Ninja H2 motorcycle.
It looked impressive.
The message read: “I’ve finished the modifications you suggested. The exhaust system is upgraded, and the engine won’t overheat anymore.”
I smiled, touched by the gesture.
The Kawasaki was a high–end model, and without my advice, it might have been scrapped.
I replied: “I am glad that my advice has worked well for you and your bike.”
I’d like to thank you with dinner tonight.” He replied swiftly.

I hesitated and declined his invitation. Emma has prepared a divorce party for me tonight.
I typed: “Appreciate the invitation, but I’m already booked up for tonight. Let’s catch up
another day.”
His reply came quickly. His usually cold attitude was softened by a cute cat emoji making
an “OK” gesture.
Icouldn’t help laughing.
I put down my phone. Leo had already hung up and was looking at me intently.
