With a fierce snarl, I grabbed his hand and twisted it violently. 

The sickening crack of bones breaking was a twisted satisfaction, the rogue’s screams 

choing off the walls. 

I retaliated with equal brutality, ensuring he felt every ounce of the pain he had inflicted on 

Elizabeth. 

As the rogue’s cries faded into weak moans, I stepped back, my breathing heavy but my rage slightly alleviated. 

I sank into a nearby chair, lighting a cigarette, trying to calm my turbulent emotions. 

Beta approached, holding out a phone with a serious expression. 

“There’s a call for you,” Beta said, his tone both respectful and concerned. 

I took the phone, my mind still burning with anger. “Hello?” I said, trying to steady my 

voice. 

On the other end, Aria’s voice was strained and tearful. 

“Leo, my hand… it’s broken,” she sobbed. “I’ve been working so hard to play the piano for you. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to play again. Please, come and see me.” 

Her distress tugged at something inside me. 

Despite my anger, a pang of guilt hit me. 

I quickly dressed and instructed Beta to keep a close eye on the rogue. 

“I need to visit Aria,” I said, my voice firm. 

When I arrived at the hospital, Aria was in a state of hysteria.

Her wails were heart–wrenching as she cried out about her ruined hand and her feats of never playing the piano again. 

“Aria,” I said, trying to calm her. “Please, try to stay calm. We’ll figure this out.” 

But her cries only grew louder. Her anguish was nearly unbearable, and I pulled out a bank 

card, offering it to her as a peace offering. 

The sight of the card seemed to soothe her a bit, but the sense of urgency remained. 

I could see Aria crying but my heart only yearned for Elizabeth. 

I couldn’t stop thinking about her and her pain. 

I knew she was all by herself and my heart was desperately forcing me towards her. 

In my mind and my hear, I could only imagine Elizabeth’s pain and her not being able to 

play the piano. 

Though Aria’s crying tried her best to distract me but my worry for Elizabeth only grew 

stronger.. 

“I have to go,” I said, my voice cutting through her sobs. “Elizabeth was hurt too. I need to 

see her.” 

Aria’s eyes flashed with anger as she grabbed my arm. “I am in pain, I need you.” 

“You can call your parents to take care of you if you need to,” 

“They’ve gone to find the person responsible,” She said, while grasping me harder. 

I somehow succeeded in getting a bit away from her ‘What? I have already caught punished the murderer, so whom are her parents punishing? I thought to myself. 

Aria’s smirk was smug. 

“They’ll make sure that awful woman, Elizabeth, pays for everything. She’s just jealous of 

me.” 

Her words were a jolt to my system.

I pushed her away, her shocked expression lingering as I left the hospital. 

My mind raced as I made my way back to Elizabeth’s hospital. 

When I arrived, the scene was chaotic. The ward was in disarray. 

The room looked disgusting as if something horrible had just happened here. 

Rose petals were spilled all over, china tiles were dirty with water and dark stains. 

I saw nurses and approached one of them: 

“What happened here?” I asked urgently. 

“There was a disturbance,” the nurse explained. 

“A couple claimed to be your relatives and caused a scene. There was an altercation, and 

the patient threw a vase at them. A man intervened and arranged for a transfer.” 

My heart sank. 

The couple must have been Aria’s parents, and the man who intervened had to be Rolin. 

I pulled out my phone and dialed Elizabeth’s number. 

Rolin answered, his voice cold and unyielding. 

“Let me speak to Elizabeth,” I demanded. 

“She’s resting,” Rolin said, his tone dismissive. “She had a confrontation with some visitors. 

She’s not up for phone calls right now.” 

“Where is she?” I pressed. 

Rolin hesitated. 

“She’s being moved to a private hospital I own. I won’t give you the address. If you can’t 

manage the people around her, then perhaps you don’t deserve to see her.” 

When he finished, he seemed to hang up the phone.
