But Leo wasn’t in the mood for any of her antics. His patience had worn thin.
Without another word, he grabbed her arm firmly and lifted her from the sofa as though she weighed nothing,
With swift, determined movements, he pulled her toward the door and pushed her out, slamming it shut with a loud, final “bang“.
Undeterred, Aria began banging on the door from the other side, her voice shrill as she yelled, “Leo! You forgave Elizabeth, why can’t you forgive me? I never did anything to hurt you like she did!”
A crowd began to gather outside the door, curious eyes watching the scene unfold.
Leo opened the door again, his expression deadly serious.
“Stop your nonsense, Aria,” he warned, his voice dark and commanding. “Elizabeth has never done anything to wrong me.”
“But your leg-“spoke Aria, despair dripping from her voice.
Three years ago, if Sherry’s parents hadn’t run away from the battlefield on the verge of a war, causing you to fall into harm’s way with no reinforcements to support you, you wouldn’t have been so badly injured! She was only trying to make up for their failure by staying with you. She just wanted to have a clear conscience!”
Leo’s gaze hardened. “That’s none of her business,” he growled. “Elizabeth is with me because we love each other, not out of guilt. Now leave.”
Aria sneered, shaking her head. “You’ve all been brainwashed by her.”
“If you yell one more time, I’ll have you escorted away,” Leo warned, his voice final. With that, he slammed the door shut once more, his patience with her exhausted.
Back inside the room, Leo’s emotions swirled.
He wanted to call Elizabeth again, but he hesitated.
What if she was already asleep? He didn’t want to disturb her rest, but the thought of not hearing her voice gnawed at him. He missed her.
Sighing, he sat back down on the couch, picking up the battle reports to review, but his mind was elsewhere.
After a few minutes, his desire to hear her voice won out, and he dialed her number again.
The phone rang, but there was no answer. Leo’s heart sank a little.
Perhaps she had already gone to bed.
For a long time, he sat there, staring at the battle analysis, but his mind kept drifting back to her.
It was late at night when a knock came at his door, interrupting his thoughts.
“Alpha Leo,” came a voice from outside. “The truck with supplies has arrived. It’s from Silvermoon.”
Silvermoon, Leo thought, his heart quickening.
The supply trucks were essential, especially in the middle of the ongoing war.
Silvermoon had gained a solid reputation for its generosity and efficiency, and it didn’t hurt that the pack warriors looked forward to these supply deliveries with eager anticipation.
“Let the warriors go ahead and collect the supplies,” Leo said dismissively, still staring at the war reports.
But the Panther outside hesitated. “Alpha, I think I saw Luna Elizabeth in the crowd.”
Leo froze mid–movement. *Elizabeth? Here?* Without another thought, he bolted to his feet and rushed out the door.

Elizabeth’s POV
The air at the northern front was freezing, the wind biting against my skin as I helped distribute the supplies.
The warriors had been living in harsh conditions–cold, unforgiving, and relentless.
Snow covered the ground, and the tents were sparse, offering little protection against the brutal elements.
The warriors moved through the camp with a grim determination, their faces hardened by the realities of war,
I had come here looking for Leo, but once I saw the state of things, I forgot my personal worries and immediately jumped in to help the Omegas with the supplies.
Each crate I handed out, each package I passed along, felt like a small contribution to their overwhelming struggle,
The warriors were grateful, their eyes lighting up as they saw me working alongside them.
“Thank you, Luna,” one of the warriors said, his voice filled with gratitude. “You’re the first Luna who’s ever come here,”
I offered him a small smile, feeling a warmth spread in my chest despite the cold. “It’s my honor,” I replied, continuing to move crates.
As I was carrying a particularly heavy box, my foot slipped on the icy ground, and I nearly lost my balance,
But before I could fall, a strong arm reached out and caught me, pulling me upright.
I looked up to see Leo, his eyes filled with both surprise and worry as he steadied me.
“Elizabeth,” he said, his voice a mixture of surprise and relief. “You’re here?”
I nodded, my heart racing in my chest as I looked into his dark eyes.
He pulled me into his arms, holding me tightly, as if afraid to let me go.
