Her eyes flashed with anger, but before she could respond, the door to the hospital room swung open.
Leo stepped out, his face cold and unreadable.

“Who are you flinging your attitude at?” His voice was sharp, cutting through the tension. “Shelly has been nothing but patient, and even I don’t dare speak to her like that. Who do you think you are?”
