As I climbed into the car, Leo’s gaze flickered to the driver.

“You look familiar,” Leo said, narrowing his eyes at the driver. “Have we met somewhere before?” 

The driver barely shifted, his face hidden behind large sunglasses, his jacket pulled tightly around his neck, making it difficult to get a proper look at 

him. 

His voice was rough, almost mechanical, as he replied, “No, sir. You must be mistaken.” 

Leo frowned, clearly not convinced. 

His eyes remained locked on the driver, suspicion creeping into his features. 

I could sense the tension in the air, but we were already seated inside the car, ready to leave. 

“Goodbye, Leo,” I said gently, hoping to draw his attention back to me. 

The moment I spoke, his gaze softened, and he turned to me, his expression shifting from guarded to tender. 

“Take care, Elizabeth,” he whispered, his voice full of warmth. He leaned in closer, his hand brushing against mine briefly. “Come back to me soon.”
