“Put the deal with Silvermoon on hold. The person in charge doesn’t seem to appreciate the opportunity.”
Andrew’s skepticism morphed into disbelief.
He scoffed, waving it off.
“You’re bluffing. No one can freeze a deal that big with a simple phone call.”
But almost as if on cue, Andrew’s phone began to ring, the sharp sound cutting through the tension in the air.
He pulled it out, his eyes narrowing as he checked the caller ID.
His confident façade melted as he listened intently, the blood draining from his face with each passing second.
“I–what? That deal? On hold? But we just…”
His voice trailed off, and he glanced up at Orlando, visibly shaken.

“It seems there’s been a misunderstanding, Mr. Orlando. Elizabeth… she’s important to Silvermoon. After all, she is our Luna. I would never do anything to undermine her.”

“Daughter, if it’s just about marrying someone, I know several talented, handsome young men from good families. They’re much more suited for you. In fact, I could introduce you to them right now.”
Before I could respond, Leo emerged from the ward, his face pale and his steps unsteady from his injuries.

Andrew’s face darkened, his pride clearly stung by Leo’s words.
“You’re really going to throw everything away for an outsider?” he snapped, his tone venomous.
Leo’s gaze
softened as he glanced at me, his voice firm but filled with an undeniable tenderness.
“Sherry is not an outsider. She is my Luna. She’s stood by me during my lowest moments, when I had no one else. She means more to me than you’ll ever understand.”
Andrew’s eyes flashed with disbelief, but he seemed to sense that he’d already lost the battle.
With Orlando in the room, he couldn’t push the issue further, so he simply huffed, crossing his arms in frustration.
“Ine. Do as you wish,” he muttered, his voice low with irritation.
Orlando moved beside me, his hand gently resting on my shoulder.
“Let’s go,” he said. “There’s no reason for us to stay here any longer.”
