1 lay in bed that night, but sleep wouldn’t come

“Panther,” I said, my voice sharp, “I need you to find out exactly where Elizabeth is filming today. And while you’re at it, change the location of my client meeting to that neighborhood.”
After a brief exchange, Panther assured me that he would handle it.
I hung up, feeling a cold satisfaction settle over me.
If she wanted to play games, then so would I.
Later that evening, after wrapping up a social engagement with some clients, I spotted Elizabeth as she stepped out of the hotel where she had been filming.
The look of surprise on her face when she saw me was almost gratifying.
“Leg?” she said, her voice tinged with confusion.
“What are you doing here?”
I answered with a cold expression, my tone flat.
“Work,” I replied curtly, offering nothing more.
She glanced around, noticing the few clients still lingering near their cars.
“You’re here for business?” she asked, trying to make sense of it.
I nodded, my response clipped. “Yes.”
She must have sensed my chill and furrowed her brow, as if somewhat puzzled by my cold attitude, and asked, “So, where are you going now?”
I glanced at the man getting into the car, then turned to her, my voice icy.
“To the Arizona Club,” I said, “We’re going to talk business and get some pussy on the way.”
She froze, a flash of incredulity in her eyes.
Then she spoke, a warning in her voice, “So, you’re going to have some fun with women too?”
Elizabeth’s POV
The moon hung low in the sky, casting long shadows across the clearing where the pack house stood.
The air was cool, but it did little to soothe the burning frustration inside me.

Leo’s car was idling in the driveway, and I could feel the tension building as he prepared to leave.
His expression was unreadable, a stark contrast to the passionate man I once knew.
Leo laughed, a sound that sent a chill down my spine.
“So what if I get a woman? You don’t care anyway, do you?”
His words were like daggers, each one aimed to hurt.
The tone he used was cold, flirtatious, and almost mocking–a far cry from the deep love and devotion he had once shown me.
It was as if he had transformed overnight into someone unrecognizable, someone cruel and distant.

“Yeah, well, I’m not even close to being your Luna. I don’t deserve to be in charge of you at all. Take whoever you like. You’ve already betrayed me once anyway, and when you come back, we’ll go to the werewolf council.”
Leo’s eyes flashed with something–anger, maybe?It was hard to tell.
“Is that a threat?”
“Take it however you want,” I shot back, my voice steady even as my heart pounded in my chest.
He sneered, turning away from me.
“Panther, send someone to take Luna back. From now on, she is not allowed to see me without my permission.”
“You think I’m looking forward to seeing you? Heh, Leo, you’re so arrogant.”
I said coldly as I took one last look at him before turning around.
My words were clear and carried a piercing chill. “Don’t you regret it.”
