Yes, I was the one who pursued Leo. 

Back then, Leo was the untouchable star of the school handsome, smart, and distant. 

Girls from every major chased after him, and but none of them ever succeeded. 

But I did. We are mate, unique to each other. 

When I finally won him over, it felt like I had become part of something bigger- a story I was determined to write myself into. 

And I wasn’t doing too bad myself back then. 

I’d already won several music and perfomance awards with Emma’s group. Everyone said 

we were the most accomplished students of that class in the future. 

Honestly, I used to think Leo and I couldn’t be more different. 

His world was made of numbers, data, and cold logic, and I thrived on creativity and the raw emotion that art brought. 

But then came the concert show that changed everything. 

A tall, bossy man invited me to play it at his wedding. 

He flaunted his wealth while dismissing my work with condescension. 

“Your music is not bad, but it’s just a student’s piece–twenty per day, take it or leave it.” 

My professor shot me an apologetic look. 

The man clearly held influence, and she didn’t want to upset him. 

But I was too stubborn to care. 

I walked out angrily, the sheet music in my hands scattered all over the floor, and I was going to turn him down hard.

That’s when I first noticed Leo standing nearby. 

He was standing beside the man, chatting casually. 

His interest in having me play the piece I just played vanished. 

Out of curiosity, I took it upon myself to strike up a conversation with Leo and ask him what he had said to make the man leave. 

With a mischievous smile, Leo tidied up the scattered sheet music on the floor and handed 

them to me. 

“I told him that the piece you were best at was about a love story full of betrayal. He quickly 

lost interest.” 

I was instantly intrigued and asked how he came up with that. 

“Easy,” he said with a shrug. “I just analyzed it.” 

That was the moment I started falling for him. 

He seemed to understood my music, so naturally, I thought he understood me too. 

But now, I can’t help but wonder–does Leo even understand me at all anymore?
