“Even the shoes, she got those for me,” he added.

Last night, Charmaine had received a message from Sid. Once he found out she was in Sudbay, he invited her to an auction hosted by his family’s foundation.
The event was being held at Sid’s private vineyard in Sudbay.
The view of the sea, paired with the stunning gardens, was breathtaking–so much so that even Celeste, who had seen countless beautiful landscapes around the world, couldn’t help but feel envious.

As they watched luxury cars drive by, filled with faces Charmaine vaguely recognized from magazine covers or financial news, Celeste couldn’t help but gasp in awe.
“Charmaine, your friend must be someone really important to get tickets for this auction, right?”
Charmaine replied casually, “He doesn’t need tickets. He’s the one hosting the auction.”
Celeste’s jaw dropped open, so wide it looked like she could fit an egg in there. “H–Hosting?!”
Just then, a man in a tailcoat, flanked by several security guards, approached their car.
“Ms. Nelson, Ms. Wheeler, I’m Flynn Zink, the manager of the vineyard,” he said with a respectful bow, guiding them toward the vineyard.

“The owner has instructed that if you’re interested in any items, you can use the headsets to notify us, and we’ll prioritize securing the bid for you.”

Soon after, staff began distributing snacks and drinks to each seat, and professional massage services were offered.
The guests around them couldn’t hide their amazement.
“Yasaria’s auctions are always very high–end, but regular bidders don’t get these extra services. This is the first time it’s happened!”
“Exactly! I’ve been to at least ten auctions, and this is the first time I’ve seen anything like this!”
“Seems like Yasaria’s economy isn’t doing so great. They must be relying on Valasia to prop things up, haha.”
