“Enough, Robin! Do you have no shame? You’re supposed to be Master Field’s proud student, yet now you’ve caused a medical accident, and you want to blame it on an intern?”
Anthony’s voice was filled with disappointment, his anger unmistakable as he shook his head. “How could you dishonor the sacred profession of medicine?”
Charmaine sneered and said, “Yes, the medical profession is sacred, but there’s malice in some hearts, ready to tarnish our profession.”

“Dr. Robin!”
As the accusations piled on, Leah rushed over and stood beside Charmaine.
Her face was full of compassion, yet her expression still carried that same false sweetness. Holding Charmaine’s hand, she spoke softly, “Dr. Robin, we all trust your medical expertise, and we believe this was never intentional, but…
“The facts are right in front of us. I understand your pride, really, but we all make mistakes–even you. You might not believe you’d make such a small error, but no one is perfect. Dr. Robin, you should admit your mistake and sincerely apologize to them. Perhaps once Mrs. White recovers, they will extend forgiveness for your error.

she was, Leah kindly urged her to face reality.
Zayn growled sternly, “Leah!”
Leah shook her head at Zayn, adopting an expression of concern for Robin. Her tone was soft and persuasive, “Zayn, in this situation, the best thing we can do for Dr. Robin is to encourage her to admit her mistake.”

Charmaine burst into laughter due to her anger.

Charmaine felt her disgust grow, yanking her hand from Leah’s grip.
She then grabbed the disinfectant on the table to spray on her hands.

Leah cursed Robin inwardly, furious with her stubbornness.

Recalling how she’d once tried to please Robin just to get closer to Zayn, Leah felt utterly sickened and humiliated.
Robin had no way out now. Leah had no intention of continuing to get involved with the situation. With a cold expression, she stepped aside, waiting to see how Robin would sink further.
Of course, she remembered to tug Zayn aside. “Zayn, wake up!”
The situation took place out of the blue and was overwhelming for Zayn that he felt lost and uncertain.
Robin had been his idol–her talent, her ability, and her character were everything he admired.
Deep down, he still believed in Robin, but the facts before him made it impossible to remain resolute and unwavering by her side.
With a conflicted expression, he was ultimately pulled away by Leah.
Amidst the crowd’s accusing eyes, Charmaine remained indifferent and unfazed.
She briefly glanced at Zayn, still wearing his guilt–ridden, fake expression, then turned her gaze toward Todd. The intern stood quietly, nervously twisting his hands, his head lowered in guilt. A coldness filled Charmaine’s eyes.
“At first, I had my doubts, but now I’m certain,” she said, her voice ice–cold.
“Todd, you tampered with my computer and altered the prescription.”
Todd’s face instantly pale. “I didn’t, I didn’t do it!”
“Freya, already seething with rage, nearly tore into Charmaine, her voice sharp, “Robin, are you done? How much longer will you keep accusing people unjustly?”
“What’s the rush?” Charmaine responded with an icy glare at Freya.
“You and your family had showed up in force and accused me of harming Mrs. White, but it seems you’re less interested in finding the true culprit and more desperate to accuse me.”
Her eyes flickered, and her voice dropped into a quiet, almost menacing tone, “Or is someone secretly pulling strings, willing to sacrifice Mrs. White just to pin this on me?”
Freya’s eyes widened with fury, her voice breaking into a sharp curse, “B*tch! That’s my grandmother! How dare a heartless monster like you frame me!”
Charmaine smiled, her eyes filled with mockery. “Did I accuse you of anything, Ms. White?”
