Chapter 369 Let’s Have a Go
Freya was terrified, rushing to her parents‘ side with a pale face, visibly shaken.
Dale signaled for his daughter to calm down, then gave Anthony a knowing glance.

Anthony understood immediately. His expression hardened as he raised his voice, accusing Charmaine with authority.
“Robin, you’ve been negligent. You prescribed the wrong medication and worsened Mrs. White’s condition, which constitutes medical malpractice. If you have any sense, you’ll bow and apologize to them. Then go to the police station and confess your crime!”
The crowd around them gasped in shock.
“What? She gave the wrong medicine? That’s terrifying
“Isn’t Dr. Robin well-known? How could she make such a mistake?”
“She’s riding on Master Field’s coattails; all that praise makes her lost her sense! A doctor who can’t even prescribe the right medication? She’s not healing anyone; she’s harming people!”
Charmaine remained composed, her face calm as she responded, “I didn’t make a mistake. I won’t admit to it.”
“Robin, are you still trying to deny
t now?”
Anthony pointed a trembling finger at her, unable to hide his disdain. He had long disliked her arrogant, rebellious attitude.
She was just a young girl, a brash rookie, given the position of a special physician because of her connection to Basil. His son had been hoping for a chance to be appointed chief physician, but she had pushed him out of the way.
With a flick of his wrist, Anthony pulled out a prescription and slammed it onto Charmaine’s desk. “Look for yourself. This is the prescription Mrs. White received after seeing you. It should be Libagroot, but you wrote Libbugroot.”
Anthony berated her in pain. “Libbugroot, used in large doses, is highly toxic!”
Impossible!
Charmaine opened the prescription, and sure enough, the mechanical print read Libbugroot.
But she was certain that the prescription she had written yesterday was for Libagroot.
There had to be something fishy going on here. There was no way the healing medicine she prescribed had turned into a deadly poison.
She bit her lip, replaying the events in her mind.
To Freya, this was undeniable proof. Charmaine had no way to defend herself.
The evidence was clear, and now she was just a helpless victim, awaiting her punishment.

Freya thought with a sense of malicious delight. Her eyes gleamed with excitement as she ordered her bodyguards, “Did you hear that? Get her to bow and apologize to me.”
Charmaine shot Freya a cold, undisguised, mocking glance. With her family backing her up, Freya had clearly forgotten the panic she had suffered at Charmaine’s hands earlier. Now, she taunted Charmaine with a gesture of slashing her throat.
Before the bodyguards could make their move, Paxton and the others arrived on the scene, halting the chaos.
“I dare anyone to lay a hand on anyone in this hospital Paxton’s voice rang out firmly.
Ingram, standing between the two opposing sides, was calm despite the years etched on his face. His presence alone demanded respect.
Paxton, Zayn, Leah, and others joined him. They quickly assessed the situation and asked Charmaine if she was injured.
When they saw that Charmaine was unharmed, Ingram sighed in relief and addressed the Whites. “Mr. White, you used physical force to assault my doctor. You must apologize to Dr. Robin, or I will not let this go.”
Anthony, drenched in sweat, immediately tried to explain. “Dr. Pearce, Robin gave the wrong medicine, and Mrs. White was admitted to the ICU because of it. This situation is the fault of our hospital.”
Ingram’s expression shifted slightly, his brows furrowing in disbelief. He denied directly, “That’s impossible. Dr. Robin would never make such a basic mistake.”
Haha!
Freya couldn’t believe what she was hearing. This old fool is still trying to defend Charmaine?!
She sneered and cornered Charmaine. “The evidence is right in front of you. How can you deny that? Are you trying to avoid taking responsibility? Or maybe you’re afraid of Basil’s backing and want to twist the truth to protect this incompetent quack who can’t even get the medicine right?”
Freya’s voice grew more aggressive, each word aimed at tarnishing the reputation of both the hospital and Basil.
Charmaine had been pushed to her limits.
She clenched her fists and spoke with a cool, measured tone, “Fine. If you want to make a scene, then le go all the way.”
Freya crossed her arms, grinning. “No problem, Let’s see how long you can deny this.“.
Ignoring Freya’s mocking, Charmaine quietly reassured Ingram, who was visibly upset. “Thank you, Dr. Pearce. I’ll get to the bottom of this. I won’t let the hospital or my master be dragged into this mess.”
