Originally, she had only involved herself in selecting the studio assistant because she wanted to personally expose Leah for plagiarizing her designs, ensuring she would never again use Charmaine’s work to gain fame and fortune.
“What?” Rex was confused.
Charmaine didn’t explain. “I have my reasons.”

As she spoke, her bright, expressive eyes sparkled with excitement, and her delicate, captivating face was filled with playful charm–like a mischievous little fox eagerly seeking attention.
Emyr’s gaze darkened. “What’s with the sudden offer to give me a massage tonight?”
“I’ve been busy with the show lately, so I haven’t been able to give you proper needle treatments. A massage will help loosen your muscles.”
Emyr didn’t refuse. He lay down on the bed, letting her indulge in this sudden whim of hers.
If she wanted to do this, he had no complaints.
