The old man went speechless.
Within a short period of time, Charmaine had reversed the old folk’s misunderstanding and prejudice against her and began to see her patients as usual.
The police took a few statements before they left. The nurses and security guards also left after reiterating the order of seeing patients in the corridor.
Everything had returned to normal.

A trainee doctor in a white coat hurried from the secure passage to the mezzanine garden, where Freya was drinking her coffee.

The trainee doctor explained the situation in detail.
Freya slammed her coffee cup on the ground, splashing coffee everywhere and leaving stains on the trainee doctor’s white coat.
The trainee doctor held the dirty hem of his clothes anxiouslly. He saw that Freya was getting furious so he remained silent.
“I spent so much money to have them stir things up and Robin ended up treating them?”
“Dr. Robin has quite a reputation. She is the only direct disciple of Basil Field. The appointments for her online consultation were fully booked within three days. A lot of people were fighting over her appointments …” the trainee doctor said.
“Shut up!”
Freya glared at him fiercely, showing her annoyance. “Let’s see if she could be lucky every time!”
Charmaine had never attended to so many patients in a day before.
After seeing the last patient in the afternoon, she stretched her arms. There was a slight soreness in her tailbone.
It was time to clock out now. She prepared a new milk formula for the kittens after changing out of her work outfit.
The kittens were capable of taking in milk now after they had them once in the morning.
Charmaine fed them with a syringe. The two little ones held onto it with their tiny paws adorably.
It was truly stress–relieving to see the kittens after such busy day.
“Alright, all done. You can have more in the morning,” Charmaine said.
She played with them for a while, tidied up their bed, and prepared to leave.
