Chapter 274 Reunion of the Brothers
“However, we can’t go back to the casino anymore to avoid further trouble.”
Cash paled at the thought, a sense of loss washing over him.
“Does this mean we can’t work together anymore?”

He muttered to himself, “I’m actually quite satisfied. I haven’t done much, just chatted a bit, and I’ve made a few thousand dollars. That’s already better than months of hard labor as a delivery driver.”
Cash expressed his gratitude, “I’m truly grateful, Mr. Bennett, for giving me this new hope.”
Bennett was thrilled.
Back when he had his own company, it felt like no one really appreciated him–they were all just after
money.
However, Cash was different–honest, innocent, appreciative, and eager to reciprocate kindness.
Above all, he could help him make money!
Bennett reassured Cash, “Cash, you’ve got it wrong. We just won’t go back to the casino, but that doesn’t mean our partnership is over.”
Cash looked confused, “Mr. Bennett, what are you suggesting?”
Bennett cleared his throat, “Well, I’ve been thinking. We were meant to meet. I value your skills and your loyalty. I have some idle money–enough to start a small business. You studied finance, right? You can help
run it.”
He paused, recalling the fortunes told about Cash’s financial future, which promised increasing prosperity.
He quickly decided, “No, let’s make it official. You’ll be the CEO. I’ll grant you more authority and a larger share of the profits. Once the business starts earning, your family’s medical bills won’t be a worry anymore.”
Cash’s eyes widened in shock, filling with excitement and disbelief.
“Mr. Bennett, are you serious? Do you really want me to manage your business?”
Bennett chuckled at his eager, somewhat clumsy reaction, reassured by his control over the situation.
“Absolutely, Cash. I trust your abilities. Together, we’ll make this venture highly profitable!”
“Thank you, Mr. Bennett! I’ll give it my all and won’t let you
down!”
“Excellent!”
Kane was very upset about not being able to go home.
Disheartened, he wanted to confront Emyr but was sent away by Emyr to inspect the freezing northeast before he had a chance.

He could not resist a chuckle, sliding his office chair closer to Emyr during the technical department’s presentation, “Emyr, having trouble with Chara lately?”
A chill colder than a Tiberian wind swept through as he spoke.
Kane’s grin widened.
“I told you, you can’t manage without me. If you’d listened to me sooner, you and Chara would be happy together by now!”
Emyr shot him a sideways glance, clearly tempted to dismiss him.
Instead, he paused, took a deep breath, and lowered his voice. “First, tell me if it’s feasible.”
Kane’s eyes sparkled with excitement!
As the semester wound down, the school shifted focus from teaching to independent review.
Eragos University’s policy allowed students to choose where to study for the last two classes–be it the library, classroom, or elsewhere.
Ultimately, the exams would show whether they had used their time wisely.
Charmaine mostly stayed home to study. After arranging her room to fit a desk, she invited Celeste to join her for study sessions, having first cleared it with Alfred.
